Running a arc lash, chain lightning, lightning spear stun build with bit of burning effects on there. Just cant do it. Bit of a shame really since i wanted to avoid using / looking at meta builds and just try to cook up something on my own for my first character. Lvl64 btw.
Something positive is that the game actually got challenging.
So you refuse to look up a build that synergizes and works well, but complain that you can’t do a NM T21 at level 64?
You do realize that a T21 dungeon has level 84 mobs…right?

Why let your pride get in the way of having fun with the game? Go look up some builds and see how others are building their sorcs.
Ive had plenty of fun with this build. And i didnt mean to complain, more like state that this seems to be the furthest i can go in the game with something i tried to build myself. Sure, there are plenty of paragon points left so perhaps i will eventualy get through that level.
Like I said, you’re attempting content that is 20 levels above you.
You’ve hit a wall.
Most people can’t do +20 level content at that level.
Concentrate on leveling up your paragon and your character. You can only get stronger.
EDIT: I was off by the mob level… 10 levels not 20
T21 should have level 75 mobs.

Just keep building and looting. You can make it work. Id drop the lighting spear for something defensive though. I’m not following the meta’s either and managed to get up to tier 58 now using a chain lighting build that’s not meta.
Lightning spear is there to increase crit chance and cause stuns especialy when i go all out ultimate. Basicly all enemies get stunned and i have been stacking stun related damage increases in my items. Allso it allows other shock skills to crit more too.
If I may. Stop using chain lightning, stop using lightning spear.
Do lash, charged bolt, teleport, ice armor, frost nova, flame shield.
aspect suggestions = 20% DR when using basic, +basic attack speed, edgemaster, retribution. or you could do the synergy aspects between Core and basic (swings with basic increase next core skill by 10%, crits with core skill increase attack speed by X%)
Yeah don’t use an ultimate. They are all bad. I mean some people like the constriction of the snake, but it’s garbage when you get a raiment. Flame shield is better than any ultimate we get LOL
I will most likely keep playing untill i have filled the paragon board thst has increased damage against burning enemies as i allready filled extra damage against stunned enemies paragon board.
After that i might chance the build if its god aweful. Perhaps i just pick a new class either barb or druid untill patch goes live and they might do something about sorcerers

I’ve played arc lash/lightning exclusively since both betas… it’s not the best build but I do ok lol
I understand. The stun on it is good. I used it for a while until I got the Raiment unique chest. I found lightning spear to be a bit unreliable on higher levels but if it works it works. You can get a lot of crit chance on rings and gloves if you get lucky. I got the movement speed unique crit boots as well. I’m on 41% crit now. Leveling the paragon board helps a lot boosting your dmg output.
That’s much too high a level for someone level 64.
21+54= 75 level mobs.
For optimal experience/damage ratio you should be at least 3 levels above your current level in NM dungeon level.
Pay attention to how the dungeon affixes are rolled too, as those will impact how extra difficulty factors into it.
So at 64, you should have a base level of rank 10, but you should be running at around 13-15 rank NM’s to speed up your leveling.
Unless you are running a pushing build/group, you want to prioritize clear speed above all else.
The mobs outside of the end boss should be virtually getting one shot by your main spam ability.
