So we have an open world, but are then limited by the isometric point of view. the entire experience would be much more immersive if it would just be 3th person i feel.

I don’t care for isometric views myself actually. Especially ones without WASD movement, BUT you also wouldn’t fine me complaining about this on a game such as diablo lmao. I also enjoy that they added view-points where you gets more of a typical view of the world and scenic views.
I disagree. The isometric view is fine and totally normal for an ARPG. If you want a first/third person view you should try Destiny 2 or Warframe.
It feels very weird that they put so much detail into the world and environmental design and you can’t see a lot of it because of the fixed camera angle. I don’t know if 3rd person would make the game better (I’m not sure it would feel like Diablo anymore), but maybe another level of zoom out? There was an extra level of zoom out for the world boss, because you just couldn’t see the battlefield with the scale of things. Something like that might help us see more of the world, and feel less constrained when we’re in fights with a larger scale (some boss battles in dungeons felt like this would have really made it a different experience).
Not what you’re asking about, but a screenshot mode where we can look around at details of the world, and catch pictures of our characters looking awesome (also pretty difficult to do in the default view) would also be neat. I spent a lot of time this weekend taking terrible screenshots. 
I agree. Something similar to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim or the Dark Souls games, would have been good.
