Just asking everyone’s feelings. I saw some videos from the main streamers who suspect something might be bugged with XP gain and personally I concur.
I was level 70 killing level 100 monsters (now supposed to give the full XP amount) in NMDs and it really didn’t seem like much extra XP was happening. In fact I’d say it somehow feels a little slower than S4.
I only did a single infernal hoard but it seemed to conversely grant a lot of XP. Just wondering everyone’s findings.

I found that leveling solo is slower this season. Maybe it’s because I got distracted by the awesome seasonal quests and there are fewer people in Helltides. However, I noticed a big difference when I power-leveled my buddies—they reached level 55 within an hour.
From what I can tell, you get the biggest XP gain (percentage wise) at the +10 level, after that you get more but it dininishes per enemy level.
Example (fictional numbers):
+10 levels - +100 XP (or +10 effective per level)
+11 levels - +109 (or +9.9 effective per level)
+12 levels - +117.6 (or +9.8 effective per level)
…and onward.

Ive seen multiple reports that leveling is a bit slower than S4 so far.
Yes, xp gain is 50% slower than S4, NMDs have fewer events in them. They seem to have nerfed NMDs so people will do the new thing, but that one is only lvl 100 monsters (tier 3) and gives no glyph xp. Can’t do tier 4 at character lvl 85.

can you elaborate the power levelling method, im going away this weekend and going to run it by a couple friends see if they will help me catch up in a hurry once i’m back - how do you do it?
Definitely feels like it. It makes no sense cause we have to do NMDs.
Bring newbie to capstone dungeon right away since mobs are lv 50. As soon as in T3, do NMD. Newbie just have to stay behind. Once it hit T4, do NM 52/53 as mobs drop 925 gears. Newbie no longer a newbie and can survive in T4 on its own.
