And would like to know if I require subscription to any service in order to play Diablo 4 on xbox ?
I need to know before launch so I can subscribe in time

I would wait to see what it looks like after launch before buying a subscription though just incase you dont need it.
You can definitely play the beta this weekend without it though.
Played fine with no Gamepass (Have an Xbox account). I even see other players running around. I just don’t have any of the Live services for the game. Single player still works fine.

You can’t play without Xbox Live. If you have account on Xbox you have at least Xbox Live Silver (now known as Xbox Network).
If you see other players then you do have Live Gold (maybe through Game Pass Ultimate).
The best way to figure this out is go to the respective store(xbox/playstation and check. On playstation store and xbox store it actually says you need ps+ and xboxlive

Playstation store specifically says it’s required for online play. Blizz themselves had said that you do not need it for the Beta, and that you may only need it to use multiplayer features upon launch.
So we really do not know at this point.
People still pay for Xbox gold? You can literally get gamepass for 1$ a month every month lol
How? I paid 1€ for the first month but after that it’s going to cost 10€…!
Make a new account, sign up for gamepass for 1$ and make sure that account is signed in then sign in and play on your main account.

When i tried the beta on my xbox without a xbox gold subscription there was a messagecwhich popped up saying basically “to play the game as blizzard intended with a clan and multiplayer you need a gold sub” but it allowed you to play anyway.
That to me suggests we will be able to play without a gold sub on the xbox but it would be nice to see an official blizzard explanation.

Because if yes - i will buy it on PC.
That… was beta… which didnt require any live/plus
On consoles a subscription is required for multiplayer.
We DO KNOW. Please stop. Everything is written clearly on the Diablo 4 store pages for XBOX and PS.
You do need it. People are confused because you didnt need it for beta. You will neeed it for launch.
