Killed damn boss 17 times not a single ancestral.
Other bosses drop ancestrals every kill.

If you want Ancestral I recommend you farm the Obols and go crazy at the obal vendor.
The higher the torment the better the ancestrals.

Only uniques and a mythic if lucky. The orange ancestral items dont drop from bosses anymore.

No, I think they didn’t know uniques can be ancestral. Or thought by ancestral you meant legendary ancestrals. But yes varshan should be able to drop GA uniques

If you are farming uber bosses,you are farming Unique items. Not legendary items.

GA is the most common term for item lvl 800 stuff

I honestly did not know they had ” Ancestral unique” in the name when they are greater affixes.
Never heard anyone before you say ancestral when they mean a GA item, Especially not for uniques.

Uniques had their own ancestral droprate which has been removed so they have the same chance like legendaries.
I melted through 300 urivar mats yesterday and got like 2 ancestrals.
GA Can only be on an ancestral item, and all ancestral items have at least 1 GA.
So GA and ancestral items are the same.
They are always item power 800.
(This was changed/implement in season 4:Loot reborn, before this only ancestral items existed, GA items did not exist.)
Varshan drops GA/Ancestral items i have gotten 2. But droprates are low. I used alot of hearts to open the chest after the boss fight.
