I tried a few times and the rewards were laughable. One helltide chest yields better rewards.
Am I missing something?
Kurast is great. You need the tribute things though. I just got a glove worth a ton of gold because I forced armor has to drop with skill ranks and I hit a glove with GA Life and Core Skills. Nice filler until I get GA life and Quill Ranks.
You can also force amulets with skill ranks but SB dont need that because of BLT amulet.

How do you get tributes?
You have to progress campaign quite a ways and do a prioroty quest line for undercity. IT will tell you that they now start dropping. Should have been enabled from start its dumb.

I found a 4ga, perfect roll banished lords. And thought that I don’t need it. Sold it. The next day I heard about the overpower build.
Not in the undercity though, Duriel dropped it on torment 2.
I am still waiting on a double GA life/core… had tons of double GA and some 3 GA (not BLT). I have never had a 4 GA thouogh.
I keep one of everything for this reason then start selling the 2nd best one I get. HAs saved my butt alot while also costing me some $$. Its a trade off but worth it for peace of mind.
I also sold a 2 GA Banished before I knew but sold it for decent money so it was ok. The one I kept dint have life on it so even I goofed on BLT amulet too. I thought overpower and attack speed was best. Im dumb.

Tributes MAY or MAY NOT work on a run…
5 runs today, and only 1 gave me anything besides blue/yellow gear, and I ran tribute and did rank 1 every time…

If the stuff worked right it might be worth it but its bugged to all hell. Either gives incorrect rewards or no rewards. Opals are same thing. They dont give jack crap half the time.

Like other said is really bugged actually, but the rune tribute, you can get often it from pit, seems really stable for what i played, at least for this undercity worth it.
I got one unique tribute from somewhere that gives a chance for a mythic. Got tyreals with a GA on max res from it.
I was sad and amazed at the same time since only hours ago I turned a tyraels in with sparks and runes.
The 2 systems in season 6 are very bad right now. Realmwalker is a snooze fest, Undercity is very underwealming in terms of time spent related to rewards earned.

Blizzard did say when the expansion was announced that Undercity was for leveling and preparing TOWARDS the end game
Its worse than the endgame acitivites by design
This new idea (Undercity) ha no target: is not for Single Players, is not for groups either.
Probably will end up as the Gauntlet: nobody played it.
It is fun but I get to the end and I feel like it was just wasted time that I could have done better in other content. I just want it to reward like its sounds its supposed to. Enough of Blizz hyping up content with super carrots just to extend that pole a little further away that you cant reach.

Yeah one dude was saying they work fine and he finished his whole faction board using it on torment bosses. It was Lazyloaf I think. Not trying to call him out as he seems like a good dude but its not working. I tested that today. Bosses were giving 22 faction each and I was getting boss mats from them maybe 1 in 10 bosses. No way he filled whole faction board doing that at 22 faction a pop. These things take 1000’s per rank.
The mechanic is just a dumb waste of time. Probably worst season mechanic ever. And yeah that includes not really having a mechanic in season 4 and 5. At least the faction boards were worth it, i didnt have to make sure I farmed and popped a potion every half hour, the xp went quick, there were twice the rewards, and it gave a repeatable spark.
This season there are half the rewards and it takes 10x the amount of time to finish it and there is no spark at all.
Blizzard really loves to see what people love and then take it away to make you grind harder.

Dude you just wont give up on that. They clearly made it an endgame activity and said so in the campfire. If the stuff worked correctly it would be one of the best end game activities in game. You can target farm not only type of gear but specific affix types on that gear. You can target boss mats. You can target end game runes. You can even get mythics in the place. It just doesnt work correctly. On top of that its more fun than boring Pits and Nm dungeons. Its also not as time consuming as hordes which also gets boring.
You just want what you say to be true so you can continue to whine about “forced grouping” is the only end game content. Its not true so just stop.
