Is Torment 4 a trap?

Oh I didn’t mean to imply there was anything wrong with that. Doing it just for the challenge is perfectly valid but it just isn’t something I am personally interested in which is why I asked. I tend to approach most A-RPGs as solo games and don’t have a competitive bone in my body so bragging rights, ladders, and achievements are of no importance to me. The only reason I want to push harder content is to get a better chance of obtaining certain builds defining items for builds that I find fun and want to try out. I don’t have as much time to play these days so I wanted to gauge where I should draw the line and maximize efficiency by asking for others to share their experience with Torment 4.

At the end of the day I just wanna log in mash some buttons and take out my irl frustrations on the denizens of Hell, not really looking for them to offer too much resistance, haha. :joy:

Last season I spend a ton of time farming t1-t3 content of all types sans the citadel. I got 0 mythics (sry). Then s7 dropped and cataclysm got a buff, so I could finally do t4 bosses comfortably. I dropped shroud, shako, doombringer and the new dmg helm in a day of like 10 mystic tributes and 10-20 gregoirs and 10-20 zyrs. I also did 23 rune tributes and got my 6th ohm. It was the only leggie rune that dropped in those 23 runs. Maybe the leggie runes and the mythics drops are heavily slanted towards t4?
