Seriously it is a joke, This was not the game i Bought.

Thanks streamers i am glad you have a game that feathers you nest, because that is all that matters.

I am naked and using a starting weapon and have no reason to equip gear, how long until i do.

All early game is now a waste of time and not a Experience. So i just play and yawn my way through the game

If this is the intention of the game, admit it at the dam camp fire if its true, and give me a refund. I want diablo 4 , not Diablo 4 made for streamers that play 12hrs a day watch them buy it and be just like your favourite streamer, what am i 12.

Am i mad, yeah i am mad, this is a ridiculous early game experience, where is the scaled curve that makes me go hunt for that weapon to survive the Evil.
T2 1-50 is meant to be challenging.
Every new character the game feels less and i skip t1 completely.

Both, I am mad because the game suck now, it got patched to please people at the top.
I am made at some streamers, because i feel the game is being patched for them.

But more so just mad at blizzard, this felt like a real d1/d2 from level 1 climb.

Did you not ever play a real fantasy rpg before, gear is meant to matter, you need it to push for survival.

Now the skills are so buffed i can just use iron skin be naked with my stater hammer.for how lonfg idk level 6 is already too long.

Beta not like this at all, I would Die.

To be frank, the game sucked since beta. I’m only hanging around and playing hoping it gets better.

You’re arguing against one of the design philosophies for the game. They said some years ago that they wanted the characters to feel strong without the gear. In reality, that doesn’t take you far as you need gear.

Level 6? What’s that like 30 minutes in the game?

30 minutes of brain dead naked play. 30 minutes including a boss ON T2.

Challenging gameplay is the description for 1-50 can you not see that is dumb.

I wouldn’t be complaining if it made it a challenge i cant even do that since the patches.

What is a reasonable test to you then?

I have 10 characters not my first character btw. not all statues i get 4 starting points on a fresh barb.

You do you. The itemization and character building is what it is. If you have found a bunch of Lilith alters you’re already several levels beyond where your stats should be which I would argue is part of why you don’t need to change gear as quickly. The increased main stat is giving you increased skill damage.

T2 isn’t hard unless you’re just bad at the game. I started T2 in the open beta and just went from there.

cool! You use the same cosmetic skin as my rogue in d4, I am protesting “cosmetics” by going all “naked” in d4 probably until I quit playing for good.

It sounds like you wanted an upgraded d2 game with your reference, i never played d2 but i did play some d2r and didnt really like it.

I actually enjoyed d4 during the closed beta and started to realize after they had 2 open public beta’s I should have held off pre-buying it (but i already bought the game based on the closed beta (last year))…

Hope you can find a fun ARPG that you enjoy

They are effectively killing Diablo with this game.

They already said that D3 is going into EOL maintenance mode after the next season.

This game is in no way a proper successor to any Diablo game. It’s not even Diablo at its core.

This is barely an ARPG. The only thing about it that resembles an ARPG is the isometric view.

Thats the point man, it say challenge wtf is the challenge, so i cruise to 50 on auto pilot becasue i am good.
that is my point, i am not even best player, but i can play.

so DID I in open beta, wasn’t hard but i needed gear to do damage and take hits, you lie if you say otherwise as a melee.

With the renown system and alters, alts are objectively less difficult to play than your first character.

If you took the time to grind renown, all of your alts start with 10 skill points so you’re technically level 11 (skill-wise) doing level 1 content.

This sounds harsh the game is still fun my level 65 n/m charactet is great, la la la its great , they dont need to know that.

I am hunting to improve the base game experience, I am a little pissy at streamers because they act entitled, and game feels tilted when they talk about it. Depends on who you watch though.

Did you never play a D1/D2 game and when you replay you get the challenge again, though this time you have learned some lessons and maybe do better. that is the loop.

Classes are defined, that’s why its fun to role a new spec.
or master the warrior that didn’t make it.

Not running on a dopamine treadmill, that is sickness.

D3 Is not a game i care for anymore, it was a dopamine trip, not a good arpg. Unless you are 12 and up

I truly believe the design for this game was with Seasons in mind. They originally wanted everyone to have a completely fresh slate every 3 months, but, guess what, people complained about the work so they made it so your progress from Eternal impacted Seasonal.

From the outset, seasons will be more trivial since we all start with level 1s with additional skill points and potions. Honestly, with people already hitting level 100 in seasonal play I think the decision to have stuff carry over was not a good decision. Even from my perspective, we’re only 4 days into a 90 day season and I’m already pushing level 40.

As for this:

You’re more than welcome to attempt the capstone whenever you feel ready. You’re not constrained to a level cap. They removed that in the patch this past Thursday when the season started. I’m in no rush as endgame isn’t that fun.

I agree, i was clear a design feature.
This is my point, i liked more than not what they made, nothing is perfect and fixes would come, but they ripped it apart before anyone else got to play it, and devs get told to appease them why, Blizz corp, watching the money makers get unhappy lol.

Its tilted, I am probably minority that feels 3 months was fine to start fresh, level 1 no carry over. See how the meal tastes before change restaurants. That is why i am mad at the toxic ones.

While this is true, I meant as you said, level 1 fresh is more like a 11 right so in theory i dont suck so i can handle T3 at that power jump.

Vs waiting until what maybe 40 in seasonal until i can finally get out of T2.

Make sense?

That was one thing about D3 I liked was you could start the campaign at whatever Torment level you wanted.

I don’t know about the “big bubba” thing, but I’m with them about not really understanding the point you’re trying to get at. Are you native English speaker? Not asking that to be insulting, but it might explain some of the difficulty.
