Is there some reason why mana issues make just THIS class unplayable?

nado=no mana
landslide=no mana
wind shear=corny basic skill build that is very boring to play, and one of those shift builds where you shift, count to 2, shift, count to 2. No. not playing that kind of junk.

seriously, can the class stop being ruined by MANA issues in a DIABLO game??? any chance of a response from blizzard?

Lol, you’re a little late to the party on this one friend :stuck_out_tongue: It’s been a problem since day 1. The only method for maintaining Spirit (and subsequently not needing a Basic) I have found is: Get the +Spirit passive on Howl & Trample, Shout Healing + Starlight Aspect. You’ll also want +Spirit gen% from the resource Paragon board & jewelry, and cost reduction on gear where possible.

sorc starts every combat with full resource.
rogue regenerates fast.
necro idk, but minions help a lot
barb rage is similar to spirit, but they have way better regeneration skills and their skills use rage far better

druid has weak skills, high skill costs, low regeneration, bad regeneration skills and low mobility (making him feel even slower).
you need a lot of good items to have infinite spirit.

technically druid is fine. it’s just that the other classes generate resource way too fast.

  • spirit on chest and boots feels so good that it’s like Druid was built to have an auto regenerating resource. Problem is there are some decent unique boots and chests to use on builds .

yeah my tyraels isnt coming off

What Unique chest is good? The original Perma-Bear/Wolf ones are absolutely rubbish compared with a two star normal piece + tempering.

druid is just supposed to be constatly using elixir of resourcefullness when playing anything else than nature key or shred xd

not to mention that druid without tibaults + wildheart deal like no damage at all. And most people use storm builds so they need tempest roar as well… why do this class needs so many uniques to actually be played xD

Perma bear is good for landslide considering greater affix damage reduction while fortified is a strong roll and not as conditional as the wolf chest for shadow bosses.

Ah yeah, caster build with fortify would make perma bear decent. I only recently realized the flaws with Overpower, which puts a damper on most bear-specific gear.

Ideally for nado, you need to stack spirit regen on both chest and boots, try to masterwork the spirit regen affix, then try to aim for 50% crit chance on gloves, ammy, rings. That way, even if single target, you will be able to maintain a steady spirit regen allowing you to spam nado.
