Is there really no cow level?

I was thinking about the game this morning and I realized that I haven’t seen anything about the cow level. Usually, by now they find it do they not?
Please tell me that they found the secret by now and that the devs at least had the insight to add this beloved staple to the game.

I would probably still be playing if I was killing a bunch of dark murderous cows with red glowey eyes… well no I wouldn’t but it might have kept me playing until S1.

No, players haven’t found any clue yet. Sorry, its true for now.

But there is no doubt there will some sort of secret level in the future. All Diablo games do it since there was a myth in Diablo 1 (rumor) that baited people into clicking that cow.

So something will come for sure. :slight_smile:

Dataminers have found clues to a quest that involves the cow shrine in kedbardu. bringing 3 items to said shrine will do ‘something’ which is speculated to transform a cellar into a cellar filled with cows. killing said cows triggers some event. Basically the cow level semi-exists. It is not implemented or accessible in the game, but there’s artifacts of it’s existence within the game.

all of that is from memory, so take it with a grain of salt.

Well that’s cool. I guess that’s at least better than no cow level at all.

There’s barely a game here. If there was more content it wouldn’t be kept hidden.

Hard for devs to make a cow level when they never played prior diablo games to know what it is.

There is no cow level at all. If anything it will be future event or tagged on to sEaSoNal ConTenT. They can’t even add re-do able campaign or bosses or basic social features or basic stuff.

the intention for a cow level is 100% intended to be in d4, whether its in the game right now its unclear, but they clearly intended to have it in the game at some point.

The YouTubers trying to cash in on this (and all other d4 content to be honest) have gone cold. There’s a discord for it, that’s probably still active (or regressed to memeing, it’s discord could go either way).

You can find these forums and write a post asking but googling is where you draw the line?

Not only do they not know there’s a cow lvl, but they don’t know a stash can actually have 14 tabs, and an improvement would be having 28 tabs, not fewer than 14. They don’t know there’s an armory for different builds and they don’t know that D1 runs lag free so they can imitate something done nearly 30 years ago. Future is supposed to show continuous improvement, not continuous backpedaling.

No cow level yet. Blizzard too busy adding skins in COD for more cash grabs during the Halloween season.
