At the end of a vault, if I have any Zolton’s Warding left, it looks like I get one turning stone or governing stone and some other random loot.
But, from what I can tell, I can get that same stuff from random drops or by crafting Seneschal Stones with a Jeweler using Shattered stones. And this seems way faster than doing vaults too.
Which leaves the Zoltun Kelle Journals, but they seem to have a very, very low chance of actually being in a vault.
Am I missing something? Or am I better off just collecting shattered stones to craft Seneschal Stones than bothering with vaults (which are no fun for me anyway)?

prompt: When a video game isn’t fun, what are alternative ways for me to go on about my life?
It’s definitely time for a switch-up when a video game isn’t sparking joy! Here are some alternative ways to spend your time, depending on what you’re craving:
Creative pursuits:
- Dive into another form of storytelling: Read a book, watch a movie, listen to a podcast, or even write your own story. Explore a different genre or revisit an old favorite.
- Get crafty: Take up painting, drawing, sculpting, photography, or any other artistic endeavor that appeals to you. Creating something from scratch can be incredibly rewarding.
- Play a different kind of game: Board games, card games, or even puzzles can offer a different kind of challenge and social interaction.
Physical activities:
- Get your body moving: Go for a walk, run, bike ride, or hit the gym. Exercise is a great way to boost your mood and energy levels.
- Try a new sport or activity: Rock climbing, dancing, yoga, or martial arts might be surprisingly fun and satisfying.
- Explore the outdoors: Go for a hike, visit a park, or simply spend some time in nature. Fresh air and sunshine can do wonders for your well-being.
Connect with others:
- Spend time with loved ones: Catch up with friends and family, have game night, or volunteer together. Social interaction is crucial for happiness.
- Join a club or group: Find a group that shares your interests, whether it’s book club, sports team, or a community organization.
- Learn something new: Take a class, attend a workshop, or watch educational videos. Expanding your knowledge can be enriching and open up new possibilities.
Relax and recharge:
- Treat yourself to some self-care: Take a long bath, get a massage, or simply curl up with a good book. Taking time for yourself is essential for preventing burnout.
- Meditate or practice mindfulness: Focus on your breath and the present moment to de-stress and clear your mind.
- Get enough sleep: Adequate sleep is vital for both physical and mental health. Make sure you’re getting enough rest each night.
Remember, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer, so experiment and find what works best for you. The key is to step away from the game that’s not bringing you joy and explore all the other amazing possibilities life has to offer!
I hope this gives you some inspiration for your next adventure. Good luck!
There’s no point to the Vaults. Same grind different flavor.
I seem to get a steady stream of both stones just doing the overland events, many legendary versions as well. I may never see either of the two uber rares… but I’m okay with that.

The journals are useless to get btw… just finished mine and got some xp and gold, I guess I can use the gold for some more weapon repairs. Sadge
Is it possible to get the uber rares rares via overland events or gambling shattered stones? Or does that require the vaults?
I dont find them different from harvesting Vampires on Season 2. They are similar but different in flavor. I dont mind them.

I have a feeling the two uber-rare stones will be from the echo of Malphas. :-/
