My Eternal stash is FULL of Legacy gear - including the single Uber I found prior to S4 (during which I found a second!) - I’ve already scrapped and learned all of the Sacred items that had good Aspect rolls, but I’ve been hesitant to do the same with the Ancestrals.
Also, I have a bunch of Rare and Legendaries that have various Damage Reductions on them - and I believe some Legendaries with Aspects that have been removed… is there any reason to keep these?
I thought the same thing too, but honestly you lose too much by not being able to change the aspects of the legacy items anymore, and since most of them had disobedience (for armor/pants, which had the damage reduction stat), which isn’t in any build anymore, it’s not really worth keeping imho.

I knew that the old gear wouldnt work with Tempering and Masterworking, but I didnt realize that they couldnt be enchanted any more either… my Eternal stash got really cleaned out yesterday. 
I decided to keep all my 925s until I can replace them - and will probably keep most of my Uniques, as I’ve had some since S0.
I got rid of all my legacy stuff. It’s obsolete now.
With the addition of GA gear to go with tempering (when rolled right and not bricking), you trump your legacy gear.
I kept some things with good damage reduction rolls because that was a thing that was removed, but they will likely never actually be used and I’ll delete them eventually.
I deleted all of my Eternal stuff a couple of days ago, just kept potions and summoning materials. Deleted characters too, making space for S5.
This is like giving away your children.
How can you do this?
Well i kept a couple of 100s, and i got 4 100s this season already. Planned on making a druid too. So that’ll leave me with 5 slots for S5.
I’m in an almost worst scenario.
I have only 4 slots.
I got back to Eternal to play with an old character just to don’t make a new one.
Kinda ok too, because I need to update them to the new changes.
Edit.: I can see character slots being sold in a near future.
That imho Sucks! I have a barbarian with every single piece of armor, Legacy! Came here to find out what the deal is and WOW! I feel like after all the hard work put into getting the items that I’ve been robbed. It was costly in gold and time put into it and now poof!
One day faaar down the road, I’ll find some lunatic collector with more gold than common sense and sell them.

I agree. This is complete BS!!! I spent alot of time & gold getting my Bash/Barb the way I wanted and now my character is WORTHLESS!!! Blizzard doesn’t respect our time we put into their game. I bought the $100 Ultimate Edition, what a waste. I also have ~600 hours in D3. I’m DONE!!! Uninstalling all Blizzard games off my PC and will NEVER come back.
