This is a little unclear because it says “a separate livestream” which would immediately make me think 2 livestreams (1 today and 1 on the 21st) but there is no time listed so I’m confused. Are they doing a campfire chat today or are the patch notes just going to be posted randomly sometime this afternoon?
Holy cow this forum never disappoints. They will post mid season patch notes today. No campfire.
June 21st is next week, in case you weren’t sure what the date is today. Also they won’t be going over this patch at all, just the next season.
Typically we host a livestream for our mid-season updates, but we instead will be hosting a separate livestream next week on Friday (June 21) to talk about the next season in our Season 5 PTR Campfire Chat.
how did you actually make it into the forum?
Sir, this (today) is Friday the 14th of June.
It is going to be another one of those days get ready for it.
Bro… It was clearly mentioned.
Man y’all just love feeling superior, don’t you?
The word “separate” could indicate there will be two livestreams. Obviously they mention next week, but normally they do a livestream the day of as well, which would be today.
The words “typically” and “instead” supersede and indicate there won’t be a livestream today, but the wording of their post shouldn’t have said “separate”. It’s not separate from anything - it’s the only livestream.
I’m setting up the crockpot now for pulled pork sandwiches later tonight, it’s gonna be good.
So if I told you I typically eat breakfast, but instead I chose to not eat it today, but I will tomorrow, would you interpret that as I’m still going to eat breakfast today?
Just making sure we’re on the same page here.
Granted the word ‘separate’ shouldn’t have been used, but anything spoken before that should’ve solidified the fact there would be no live stream today.
The people replying are the slow ones who can’t read. OP acknowledged what the message said, but simply asked for clarification because of the wording of “separate”.
Instead of yall actually reading and responding appropriately, yall started salivating at the opportunity to dunk on someone.
Your example used instead, which the other guy already said would be a better word than seperate to get the message across.
I didn’t think there would be a campfire livestream today, I only stated that the wording of their comment should have left out “separate”.
If you said “Normally I eat breakfast today. Instead, I’m going to eat a separate breakfast tomorrow.” I would tell you to leave out the word separate because it doesn’t make any sense.
Clear?
So… is there a campfire chat today?
Crystal, my apologies.
it says instead of…, just think about it for a moment, everything would explain itself
The word we were looking for was, “instead”. I’m sorry, you aren’t today’s winner. Better luck next time!
I understood what it mean’t perfectly fine the first time, nothing to do with what I or Kesh were saying. It was aknowleding OPs question to clarify things with the uneccesary use of the word “seperate”.
It literally says June 21st in bold letters.
OP actually right. Because you pointing to the word instead. But the key word here is separate. If you read that it does indeed imply there is 2 separate campfire chats.
But we all know what they really meant for sure.
