I think most of us at some point have gone through the phase where we are constantly farming for the elusive mythic item. Right now, for example, I have the Heir of P, H Crest, Ring of Sky, Shroud of Doom, and the amulet. You would think since they are the ultimate piece of gear that if you somehow managed to get all of them (also if they actually had mythic boots and gloves and pants) that a full suit of mythic gear would somehow mix to make some type of mythical god-like build that would have access to skills from every class simultaneously or something. I guess I just long for more gear or items to strive for.

I can see where you are going with this, but answer is no.
Mythics are not set items, it doesn’t work like that. There is no ultimate synergies between all the mythic pieces if you just slap on for each slot on your character.
They are just individually all rounders powerful pieces that fill in some gaps in your build, further enhance it. Yes, it can have the effect of bumping you up a whole torment tier , but I think you are confusing Mythic with set items (which currently don’t exist in D4)

Half the mythical items are trash due to dev team incompetence and a general lack of knowledge of the mechanics of classes in the game they actively work on.
Really there’s only 4 that are “ultimate” in terms of slot:
Shako
Perdy
Shroud
Starless

A full “set” of mythics works for leveling from 35 to 60 but, for end game, you are going to need aspects from legendaries and modifiers from uniques to be effective.
Guild Wars 2 is that way. →
This was more of a daydream than a question. Ive got all the good ones. I guess now that spirtborn has literally spoiled every d4 player, wtf are we all gonna do when they take away their superpowers? I feel like Ive done everything I can do in this game. Ive run the campaign probably 10 times, Ive managed to clear a 150 pit. Ive maxed my glyphs… I guess really the only thing left to do is get paragon to 300 but Im closing in on that. Ive got 3 star gear with the exact affixes that I need. They need to do another big overhaul of this game. I dont know why the hell they didnt add a couple more uber bosses to the expansion. I mean the Undercity is ok… Ive been playing this game every day for over a year. I guess Im gonna have to jump into that other game, with the massive skill tree.
Everyday for over a year…is mostly the reason…SB is the reason also. …lots of us chose not to play the obviously broken class just for the reason you are stating. .but i think you know all of this…

That’s only because you have a narrow, spoiled view of fun. You can’t have fun unless you’re doing the strongest and most broken thing.
I took my spiritborn as far as i wanted to and did all the things worth doing. Then I played a sorcerer to help my girlfriend build her second character, because it’s her favorite… and she has fun. Then I took a break and played some other games. Now I’m back and building my claw druid and I’m having a great time.
Playing spiritborn didn’t ruin anything. It DID give me a useful character to farm materials for my growing alts.
