This is not a problem, Spiriborn is the protagonist wanderer just like a rogue, necromancer or a barbarian can be. Is not impossible for a spiriborn to leave Nahantu.
This is not a crutch. Diablo 3 story is not a 10/10 but it is a 8/10. D4 is like 4/10
I felt the story itself was fine. I would have done some things differently; though there were several things I did like a lot⦠I liked the way the characters were represented with the game engine; but sometimes the cinematic were a bit too many and a few a bit too long. But thatās different then the story itself.
Funny enough, i found the Druid part of act 2 to be the most solid one, followed by the church half Kyovashad, then the chase for Elias was eh and Nyrelle being the worst.
Aaaand then we had the mess of the later acts which were idiocy upon idiocy, like they could at least have made Donan sacrifice himself to protect us against that giant hell beast rather than getting shanked by a pillar 5 seconds later. Tho, the cutscene of templars vs hell was awesome.
But yeah disappointing how easily Inarius went down.
Itās insanely short with nothing really surprising. I would go as far to say that nothing really major happens, and the most interesting character doesnāt get enough time or development, then gets axed.
The story is great. The hero becomes an emo babysitter. All that mimimi. Uh that bad blue glowing stone. Why the heck is she carrying it to some random place in the first place? And THEN she explains, she needs to find an ancient library to find out what to do?
At least in D3 there were major events like Heaven invaded, Malthael wiping out most of the planet rather than a handful of hours that is just set up for another expansion. Seriously, nothing really happened in VoH lol
