Is the EU Server a Potato?

Is anyone else having issues with extreme lag and rubber banding on EU, or is it just me? Don’t know if the US servers are just as bad, but it’s been ridiculous so far!

I have the same issue, it mostly happen in peak hour.

always last around 30-60 minute, ping 2k-5k.

Peak hours are certainly contributing to the problem, but it’s never been as bad as this! You’d think they’d have their infrastructure sorted for high traffic by now :man_shrugging:

I found it odd that during hell tide and Infernal Hordes I have no issues, everything runs smoothly with all that STUFF going on - ON screen…

but when I got to town… I got hit with so much Lag and rubber banding…

I’ve been experiencing it EVERYWHERE! Ran an Infernal Horde that was like a slide show. Hell Tide just as bad :roll_eyes:

Well, at the start of every season it starts off bad… it’ll smooth over in time I’m sure. (at least I hope).

yep, lags as hell on peak hours… I guess it can be optimised, we don’t need to have a strong data stream always. Also maybe they have merged some servers to “optimise” some money :).

Yes.

Having said that, D4 is not made to run on WiFi no matter how fast or stable your connection is. You NEED ethernet to run this game properly.

Im playing on X-Boggs Serious X (the better Pici) in potato land (Germany) and i never die because of lags. Maybe its my awesome skill or interwebz. (still rockin 9K modem düdüdüdüdüd dangdang dang brzzzzzzt :heart_eyes:)

Joking aside. My other online games are running very good and lag free. But when i run and dash too fast with my rogue COMPUTOR says: yepyepyep. Stay… stayyyyy… ok… NOW you can go. :crazy_face:

Omega pro tip for checking lag is doing a dash. If the character starts jerking back and forth or whatever, it’s Blizzard’s potato server reaching peak capacity or something.

I look at NPC movements in town. If they stutter, I know I’m in for a rough time
