Is there any cases of feedback/ideas being posted here the devs have confirmed reading ?
Do the MVP’s compile info and pass it up the ladder to a community manager ?
I’d prefer not to waste everyones time on a lost cause if they dont.
Thank you.

Thank you.
The CM posted once to prove somebody wrong and insisted they read posts here. Take that for what it is worth.
No. If ever, you can count it on your fingers, on one of your hands. So no.
They don’t read. The CM reads, and probably doesn’t translate it to them. So yeah, some moderators probably do.
They do listen, although it’s complicated:
Density got buffs on demand, which I think is nice…
Some things like stash space, listening and being able to do anything about it are different stories…
And sometimes be careful what you wish for ^^;
They listened to the screaming about level scaling and we ended up with a train wreck lol.
Thank you very much.
They pick and choose what to read. Many issues have been brought up on the forums, and they seem to focus on 10% of all of the things posted on these forums. Or they come up with fake twitter names to ask themselves questions no one in their right mind would ask.
They only count our money.
If I was a DEV I’d probably visit once in a while, for a shot period of time.
I actually respected you right until now
have a great day Goodbye
Lol! What is happening?
You ask a question nobody has proof for, people crack some jokes.
Now you mouthing off against all the posters?
You gotta calm down man. Just post your ideas into the abyss like a normal forum poster.
Someone or something does. I did a post on when starfield came out on forums and it was flagged for removal.
There is no guarantee that they will consider your suggestions, but you are free to make them.
Do they read the forums, I think they are aware of what is said here… even if it is just to capture the tone. But again that does not guarantee they take ideas from here.
Flags are popular vote. Posts and Threads are flagged by users then auto-silenced when they hit a threshold and then reviewed and reinstated if there is nothing wrong in the thread or post themselves.
not so sure about that, as a dev myself, i devote my time in coding so that games become beteer, not reading everyones opinion on things like stash would be more.
We do read the forums, yes, and the Community Team compiles feedback for the dev team.
No, that is the role of the Community Managers at Blizzard. The “Blues”. They collect feedback from a wide variety of sources including the forums, reddit, twitter, streams, third party websites, media, etc. That goes into a weekly report presented to the Devs. They sometimes also have focused feedback they do where they are looking for reactions to something in particular in a rapid response way. That would not be weekly, but much faster. Just depends on what the Devs ask for. Keep in mind, collecting feedback is just one of many jobs the CMs do. Most front facing publications (news, patch notes, blogs), coordination of events with Devs (campfires), media, and streamers, promotions, etc, is part of their role.
MVPs are other players who answer somewhat basic questions, provide links to source info, help navigate the support system, answer policy questions, etc. They don’t speak for, or represent Blizzard. They also can’t turn green text off so when they are just talking about the game as themselves - it might confuse someone. Really though, we don’t work there.
MVPs CAN contact the Community Managers with urgent feedback, issues, etc. Where that goes from there, I don’t know. It is rare we do that, mostly for massive exploits and time sensitive stuff. Otherwise the community feedback is so glaringly obvious they don’t need someone to just parrot back what they are already seeing.
This is a generic article about Community MVPs for SC, WoW, and formerly Diablo. MVPs: Most Valuable Forum Posters - General Discussion - SC2 Forums The last Community MVP selection was for WoW in 2018. There is also a Tech/Customer support MVP program which is why I am green still.
Hopefully that helps clarify what MVPs can do. Mostly just information for folks, when not chatting about their own game thoughts like normal players.
Great, here’s mine

I knew it!
Pretty awesome
So basically they go up to the Devs and say " Yep the game is still crap according to the community…"
I probably wouldn’t even let my devs read this forum or I’d have to shell out for mental health counseling. Imagine 1000 infants crying at the same time in a massive echo chamber. Phew, I shudder even thinking about having to endure that.
And don’t get me wrong, I do my fair share of complaining. I just wish we could complain/rage at the people responsible for this; leadership.
