I skipped the season where this was added and want to give it a try but after i have saved 2 specs the equip button that you are supposed to press to change specs is greyed out and i can’t seem to get the function to work.
Does anyone know if the armory is working and any advice on what i am doing wrong?

I don’t go to casinos, but if I did, I’d bet on “they don’t know what they’re doing”. Similar complaint from a few hours ago: link.
It kind of worked when I used it a few times on my Sorc this season before I re-rolled Necro. It would change gear, skills and paragon.
It did not correctly save or equip gems/runes and did not swap aspects if I used the same item with different aspects in different builds. I’m not sure if this is a bug or if it just wasn’t designed to do those things.
It’s that infamous D3 tech that somehow works fine in D3 but is “the reason D4 has problems”. 
The IT-people of this forum already confirmed that fixing such “small” things can take months, maybe years. We can be happy that the lunar event marker finally was fixed.
