I’m consistently seeing the same tempering result 4+ times in a row. Anyone else experiencing this?

I’m experiencing this as well. I just chalked it up to my typical bad luck; I’d love to be wrong about that.

Yeah, I figure a bad streak of luck but it’s also easy to blame luck and never look into a problem that may be there.

Did you play season 4? Lol it’s funny watching people come back for season 5 after not being here for season 4 and are despising this “new” tempering system.
No, it’s not just you. Wait until you get the same temper ten times in a row. Wait until you brick a perfect 3GA that youll never see again this season (if ever) with a temper that has nothing to do with your build.
Is tempering broken/bugged? No. Is it a horrible system and working as intended? Yes.

I thought it was just me, but I got the same temper on three weapons—15 times in total. It’s okay since they are low-level weapons, so I’m using Uniques instead.

They didn’t change anything to tempering from previous season other then the fact you get more rerolls from GA items.
Yes, I had that too. Luckily for me, it was the right one. But at first I had minrolls of the right one. Weird.
I had the same experience. It definitely feels worse than last season. Trying to get War Cry cooldown reduction, it rolled on Kick cooldown reduction every single time. Bricked 2 items with no other rolls. On the 3rd item I did manage to get what I wanted. But over 10 of the same thing that I don’t want, in a row, not fun.

I’m not touching d4 again until they get rid of or fix tempering, bricking items is just 100% a bad thing. Either that or introduce set items with fixed affixes that I can completely gear in.

Nope. I did once last season. Tempered a few pc last night, one didnt work out the rest did.
I’ve had multiple times where I’ve gotten the literal exact same tempering roll multiple times in a row. Not just the same affix, but the same exact amount as well.

remember to keep some junk spares for “sacrifice” roll before you actually do it on the real one.
ive noticed the results of this are always the choice you dont want. Reroll? no point in that.

Nope, my tempers have been fine. Been getting a good mix. Although I haven’t done a build yet that requires the “hard to get” tempers.
Nothing has changed that i can tell. Rolling the same affix seems to be the same as season 4. No different than enchanting and getting the same enchant two or three times in a row.
I bricked 17 items trying to roll thorns on to it, this is getting on my last good nerve. Blizzard seriously has to let us reset tempering like we’re able to reset masterworking. I’m not spending another cent on this game till that happens.

I wonder if this is byproduct of them reducing the number of items in each recipe? A lot of them were changed to 3 or 4 options.
System definitely needs some adjustments. Some way to let the system know you are looking for a better roll of what came up or you want something different.
