Something is super fishy with masterworking this item. It refuses to masterwork crit more than once on +Basic Skills. I’ve spend about 300m trying to get it to hit even just twice, and it won’t. I’ve never had any issues getting another item in the game to hit a masterwork crit at least close to what I was wanting.
Anyone else have major issues having Shard of Verathiel hit more than one mw crit on Basic Skills, or just the same affix in general… in 300m spent it’s only mw crit on the same affix maybe twice for me.
I have a double crit on basic skills on mine. People tend to attribute malice to bad rolls. Unfortunately it’s just bad luck.

Thanks, it’s just weird. My shako I hit cooldown reduction pretty quickly, but this Shard absolutely refuses to hit twice on basic skills
Shako hit double cool down first go for me but grandfather keeps hitting nonsense for me. And it took a bunch of rerolls to get anything good on my chest. For uniques there’s a 1/16 chance to hit it twice and 1/64 for 3. Not terrible odds.but bad enough to eat all your gold.
It is probably just you getting the bad end of RNG…I was thinking this about my Airidah’s Inexorable Will ring. I reset it like 15 times. And it never hit the Ultimate Cooldown.
Then I got a new ring with the max Ultimate cooldown on the base and it hit it twice in a row.

Try switching characters and try again. See if there’s any changes.
