Is shadow imbuement bugged or working as intended?

I would have submitted this question over on the rogue forums, but apparently because I’m a console player it wasn’t letting me.

I’ve been playing rogue and while fighting a boss I noticed that casting shadow imbuement and using twisting blades in quick succession would result in only one damage proc after 6 seconds. It didn’t seem like applying a second shadow imbued skill was proccing the first so I’m rather confused why there wasn’t two instances of single-target damage going off after six seconds.

I tried against various other bosses and elites and the same thing happened. Applying two shadow imbued skills back-to-back would result in only one instance of shadow damage going off after six seconds instead of two. Is this the intended interaction? Does shadow imbuement not stack?

My rogue uses shadow imbuement with dash and flurry to great effect. My alt uses poison imbuement and twisting blades to sick effect. Twisting blades should give shadow plenty of time for the explosion to proc, for sure.

I’m not sure how that’s relevant. I was asking if the effect stacks for the purpose of two instances of expiration damage on a single target.
