I do t8s to compare clear times when im tweaking builds. 2h staff vs sword % focus. Starless skies vs crafted. Stuff like that. T7 is like doing gr90s in d3. Just farmin
no i have the problem of not doing enough dps. I spend over 6 minutes fighting the pit 61 boss on my lighting spear sorc and i just dont do enough dps to it. I dont have the greatest gear but my glyphs are 15+ and all my mythics are 12/12 (got the mats from easy doing t7s solo). I avoid the boss mechanics easy, i just run out of time
also there is “no one shot” boss mech you can get “one shot hit” 3 times before you really are “one shot”
Oh yeah, most of the druid builds have issues around 61 except for the very top end builds and winddaddy / stormslide / landslide.
I am a druid main but moved to sorc because of the power differential is so high.
last season went to barb.
I geared out both variants of cataclysm and petrify of stormslide and instread of updating my 4 builds, I cut out early since the season is short and probably none of the gear will matter come VOH again.
Eternal player here.
I cleared Tier 8 last night with a Blood Surge Necro. I’ve been lucky with Mythic Drops and had a 2 GA Starless Skies, a base Shako and a base Doombringer. I didn’t die at all, but it definitely took longer to kill things and I ended up with approximately the same amount of shards as a T7.
The biggest issue was the Council. It was from a 2 min kill to like 6 to take them all down fue to the health increase, even if I could face tank them.
I have a Tyrael’s now, so I may swap Doombringer out for a regular mace with Tempers and Overpowers.
T8 give better exchanges of Aether, so it you can do it as efficient as T7, why not?
I know im just doing T8 now.
If you get the same scores, remember that T8 gives more per chest for mats and gold
It has one more wave, which means more aether. Also I have gotten more neathiron per pull from the t8 chest than the t7 one. With all things in this game tho, it is only worth doing if you can actually do it. Not worth it if you can fail the compass.
