As the topic says I’m wondering if this unique armor is bugged. I’m playing on PC using a PS4 controller hardwired to a usb port. I mention this incase it makes a difference.
The problem I’m experiencing is that when I tele into a mob it seem like I get stuned along with the mob. I can’t cast any spells until I take step away wasting valuable stun time. Is anyone else experiencing this? Could it be input lag from the controller? I don’t have problems with any other spells though.
Just a side thought, if it is a bug an easy work around I thought of is to make the player unstoppable for the duration of the stun.
Anyways, it’s not just the mobility bug, but also this. I’ve reported this under the bug section but they have yet to take any action. This bug practically makes reathwild and aldur undoable.
Should I move this to the bug report forum? My thinking posting here is that it is sorc related.
I don’t know that it’s a bug but assuming it’s not, I would like it tweaked, certainly. As is, I teleport in, they all get pulled to me so I’m stuck, then I use evade to dash out and start firing away at them.
This is a great strategy and I do the same but it cuts the stun time by a lot and it’s a very important damage modifier for my current build.
Those chargers will insta gib you if you get in melee range. Not sure if that’s a bug, I chalked it up to that MOB flavor and just range them.
Using the teleport with Raiment of the Infinite brings enemies in and usually get you stuck.
Ideally, I’d like to teleport in, bringing the enemies together and just be able to fire an attack to take them out. Still though, if you try to attack it just misses. So if you are trying to use teleport enchantment you may run out of charges and become stuck.
I don’t like having to sacrifice evade for an extra teleport.
Raiment of the infinite reads “After using Teleport Close enemies are Pulled to you and Stunned for [2 - 3] seconds, but Teleport’s Cooldown is increased by 20%.”
If you are playing sorcerer in this game you are your own worst enemy so it is meant for you to get stunned and it works as intended xD
On a serious note though, I have noticed this as well. I’m currently running a meteor build (playing with a controller), and sometimes it takes the full 2-3s stun duration for my character to be able to cast a single meteor after teleporting.
I see. So first they get pulled to you (if they attack … you die) and then they are being stunned. It should be, they get stunned and then pulled to you.
I mean … I don’t know about you guys, but I think this is incompetence at large. Whoever designed this is not very bright. Who wants to commit suicide?! lol
It also shows some lazy programming too. If the mobs are being pulled to your coordinates, don’t use the EXACT coordinates as the player’s, add a little padding.
Yes this happens sometimes, I play on PC
This seems to also be semi-related to the clipping bug. When you “pull” them in, they are inside your character I think, so you can’t target mobs inside you until you move or they do
There are other times I feel like I am stunned for 1-2 seconds and can’t do anything and it like glitches me slightly out of the way and then starts working.
it’s frustrating, yep.
I have not noticed being damaged after teleport. Only stuck.
We are literally not stunned. Only trapped by the mobs surrounding out char.
The guy just posted the video on it. But yes, it doesn’t happen a lot.
Many many times, to me, I get frozen or whatever the mob is casting, when I use teleport with this is piece. It very confusing, because you can’t really see yourself in that bunch of bodies.
I’m thinking it comes down to using Teleport enchantment and losing Evade. Having one or the other doesn’t feel good.
