Is powerlevel a thing in d4?

Personally i enjoy leveling in these games and having something progressing.

Hitting 100 in a day is just kind of blah

Would prefer the last 5 levels to give no paragon points just a couple extra base stats or something but take a crazy amount of time to get

LOL everyone wants D3 leveling… so funny.

And its horrible. They need to scale back some of thix xp gains. I made a druid 2 days ago. Solo to lv 90 was about 5-6 hours and 90-100 was 3 hours chaining nm dungons.

I call BS. What did you actually do to get from 1-90 in “5-6 hours” solo? I ran Strongholds and pretty immediately did the Capstone for WT2 at 35. In WT3, I ran Legion Events when up then when I could do them and Sigils dropped, NMD. Probably have played for 12ish hours and not even 60 yet on my Barb. Grabbed Ashes and always running Elixirs.

With elixer, ashes, stacking movement speed, hp and season 2 powers especially the blood AOE. Everything dies in 1 hit in blood harvest. Capstone 1 and 2 done within the first 2 hours.

Its all about movement speed and the AoE blood power. I did legions in wt4 when they were up and chained nm dungons from 80-100.

No way you did WT3 Capstone in under 2 hours solo. Hemomancy does not 1 shot enemies. You actually have to have some gear to do WT3 Capstone at level 50-60. Gear takes time and luck to get. Once you get to WT4, you must have Max Resists and Armor for the NMDs or you will die instantly.

I can buy you maybeeeee did WT2 Capstone in 2 hours rushing Strongholds and doing Blood Harvest, but you did not go from 1-50 and hit WT4 in 2 hours. Not without a lot of help or twinked gear.

If you stack hp with the season elixer it does.it take 2-3 hours to get to wt4.

I was in wt3 at 38 and wt4 at lv 55. Its not hard but 55-60 was the only time my druid wasnt 1 shotting things. Your right I had a pair of tri res boots for 60. You dont do strongholds. Waste of time.

Assuming you could actually run a NMD every 10 minutes and even if you gained a level after every NMD, that is only 6 levels in an hour. This means absolutely no loot sifting, salvaging, or selling. 3 hours would yield only 18 levels at a very fast pace.

Even assuming you gained 2 levels every NMD by some miracle, that is 36 levels.

I started running nm at 80 but I could have started running at 60. If your going for speed you dont push past 10 lvs. Everything is still 1-2 shot avg nm can be completed in 3-6 min depending on the dungon. Some dungons are better than others for layout/density.

Again key stat is speed on both boots and ammy. With druid there are movement speed leg afx that can boost speed more.

3-6 minute NMD run would be some sort of miracle as a solo player not with a ton of gear. You do not really have a whole lot of control over the map requirements. Good luck killing all enemies in that time frame. Fully decked out in gear and getting lucky on maps, maybbbeee 6 minutes a run.

I think you are greatly exaggerating the time…

Believe what you will. My druid was my 6th 100 this season. With blood harvest you are never undergeared.

160% static movement speed + speed bonuses from vamp powers and other afx your hitting cap constantly.

You dont stop to kill 1 trash mob. You hit something 1once and the group dies you continue running. I thi k your discounting movement speed in relation to clear speed.

Unable to efficiently play on highest difficulty where all the nicest stuff drops is boring for me.

Any and all gear I find is useless. I go up a level, i get much weaker. Freqiently needing new gear is a pain. Stuff you need does not just drop when you need it… finally finding decent upgrades, a lvl or 2 later it is useless again. It is a boring process.

Kill stuff at same or better efficiency despite leveling up. (Leveling up means getting weaker which is no fun at all).

Once you have 1, 100 level character, you can easily set up your second character to have basically all the gear they need to level themselves from 60-100 in a few days.

At 2-3 hours a day, I got my second druid up in a week, I got my ball lightin sorc up over a saturday (played about 10 hours), geared found on friday with my other character.

It’s really very quick once you are able to set up with gear to run immediately at level 60.

For sorcs, you don’t need any duriel gear, can do set up with echo of varshans with just the chest and boots for ball lightning.

For barb, I was able to gear out decent HOTA set for my level 60, with about 30 duriel runs.

It’s kinda crazy how fast you can gear up.

The lagging piece is the glyph levelling.
