Welcome to Blizzard… They could literally get a dev from outside the Diablo 4 team (which most devs have cross platform game knowledge) and tell them to make it.

Yes, because World Tier 2 was bugged during the beta to give more exp than it should.

Oh my bad! I went to another thread and it posted on this thread for some reason! 
But my opinion with leveling up too fast, which I was about to reply, I think it’s fine early stages but it becomes slower and slower and slower, you can just imagine at lvl 30, 40 + how many hours just to reach 1 level.
D3 was like this and most levelling up games are like this, fast at first, slow mid and just grinding late.
Leveling is absolutely too fast.

By design. It’s an exponential curve fast early, long slog in the high 70+ onwards, with the last few levels in the 90’s taking hours each

People level extremely fast in the early game. It feels decent mid-game. However, People will be crying the opposite in late game until the EXP farm spots are found and the masses hear about them.
Of course its too fast, this is suppose to be a huge massive game, and in 2ish hours at lvl 20? yikes.
I have no idea I have not leveled beyond 25 and I did it without WASD
Leveling wasd is hard.
I used to be max level in WASD, but then i took an arrow in the knee
I WASD’ed myself earlier to the supermarket and back, was tricky… but doable.
