Is it me or are the mounts bugged?

Half the time its stuck in a super slow crawl, its faster to dismount and walk, even if you do the boost.

Love the horse, but, the buggy nature of the run mechanic is so annoying.

Mount speed on PC is based on how close your cursor is. Stay to the edges on your screen and it’ll go faster.

They do get hung up on bloody everything tho, and there’s no working around that.

Not just about cursor distance.
Nearly every single time I mount - Stall…crawl…not even remotely walking. Just barely moving through glue(as I speak about a horse…).
After a moment(3-5 seconds, sometimes doing a circle in place to hope it works), I can finally begin moving.
Feels like Horse-Lag and that’s what I call it.

Edit: Clarity -

  1. I can have Mouse Cursor at the very far edge of screen.
  2. I can be in the middle of an absolutely empty field.
I mount my horse and attempt to walk - it. just. does. not. move more than step…step…step.
Takes a solid 3-5+ seconds for what feels like “the game to load” - it feels like latency.
I can dismount and move perfectly fine so it’s not my connection AT ALL.

Just wanted to clarify.

Also - I see this happen to random people all the time. You can tell this is happening by their “body language”.

Zizarn made a comment about the mounts and thinks that they were designed with console in mind, not PC. That’s why it is so awkward on PC. But yeah, the mounts on PC feel terrible. Between the awkwardness of moving your cursor further away, getting hung up on a single pixel, the speed boost just not working but eating the charge. It needs fixed, but it is definitely one of the lowest priorities for them so it wont change anytime soon.
