Is it just me? I can not login to the game and keep getting error code 1016

I purchased Diablo® IV: Ultimate Edition. I am entitled to play today. However, when I launch the game from battle.net app. The game starts up and then shows "Unable to connect to battle.net, please check your network setttings.(code 1016)

I have checked my internet connection is ok and I can play diablo 3 no problem.

Having the same issue. So far I’ve tried:
Resetting modem/router
Restarting computer
Doing DNS flush and IPconfig/reset
Wi-Fi adapter options and turned off IPv6
Tried running it in compatability mode (didn’t work because the newest OS I can run for comp mode is Windows 8 and Diablo4 needs at least Windows 10

I know it’s definitely a network issue not Battle.net because I am currently having the same problem with Escape from Tarkov.

Same here. Tried everything. I can download anything, Battlenet app is fine, but Diablo… Any solution? Support team?
