I can’t for the life of me log into my battle.net account!!! I even have an authenticator attached too (SMS MOBILE)!!! I am putting in my PW correctly with no errors, but it keeps saying “Can’t authenticate that information”!!!
I just want to play Diablo 4, so I can progress my Spiritborn.

They’re getting DDOS’d because people are not on board with their terrible decision making, and they are so narcissistic that someone decided this was the only way to get their attention. Which doesn’t make it ok, but man it’s hilarious how much of a crap show all of this is. The attacks, S8, all of it.

Blizz already acknowledged the issue over at WoW, so I thought I’d be a nice Paladin and say something over here.
classic, whenever kids dont get what they want they throw their tantrums. Apparently even do DDoS attacks as you suggest.

In this one case I’m going to agree with you that this is a terribly immature approach. However, what’s also immature and narcissistic is getting this much backlash about changes they “already” tried once before that the mass majority hated, and trying to force it down our throats again, then ignoring everyone with a “we’re right and you’re gonna like it whether you like it or not” attitude.
Blizzard can’t run a database. Tiny indie company. They will blame a ddos but it is more than likely an intern thinking they understand the database.
Maybe they could hire Community Managers to engage with the users on the forums. Or at least say, “Yeah, we hear you all, all of you.”
Nah, some Bliz employee couldn’t handle the job years ago and went all postal on the forum. Now, they won’t interact anymore.

Yikes, I hadn’t heard that story. Gonna have to look that up sometime.
There are actually several stories. They had a dev go all ballistic in WoW at a world first guild around lich king era. He couldn’t handle it either.
Update: I tried logging in again, and still unable to.
Note: Is this really a DDoS attack? Perhaps one of you folks can provide some proof.
