I haven’t played since the beginning of season 1 when they nerfed barb into the ground and I got demoralized. Thinking of coming back to finish the season 1 pass but only if barbarians are actually playable now. (now as in today, not when season 2 launches)
I don’t need them to be overpowered or anything. Just not the actual worst class in the game like they were when I quit. Thanks!
Best I think to wait until S2.
Maybe things changed after I quit then. It definitely always wasn’t, but I know there were changes during the season. I just don’t know how impactful they were which is why I’m curious at their current state. Also forgive me but I have no idea what 202020 means.
Nope. Unless you’re a shill or a useful idiot who goes onto forums to claim they’ve always been fine
They’ve been fun the entire time. Just cuz it’s not META doesn’t make it unfun.
Barbs were CRAZY in s1. So many noobs & trolls lol
Fun is subjective. It wasn’t fun to me when they turned us into the worst class with very little build diversity and a lot of useless skills. I’m glad you had fun though. I don’t have to play the best meta 1 hit ko build to have fun. I literally said that in my post. But I also don’t want to swing a wet noodle when everyone else runs laps around me. That was my experience in dungeons when I quit.

It would be easier to weed through bad builds, skills, etc if we had leaderboards where you can see what works. Barb is fun though. Lots better!!!
That’s good to hear. I’ll give it a shot and come back to finish my season 1 pass. I’m looking forward to making a barb in season 2.
The barb subboards are great. Anytime you need help drop by
Barbs can breeze through T100 and breeze through Uber Lilith…it’s been this way all season.
Based on everything I saw at the beginning of the season, this was just simply not the case. But your experience must be different and that’s fine. I’m looking forward to enjoying barb in season 2.
it was kind of dull before zerking bleed/DS, many made rogues as protest
they fixed a broken aspect is what happend.
thats where the confusion is coming in

I’m not sure if someone as fickle as TC is willing to stop playing diablo 4 because of cheap nerfs, will like Season 2. I mean there are other classes to play. Not only that but I’m confident the following patch after Season 2 opens will have nerf for number tuning.
I don’t really consider it fickle to feel burned when they heavily nerf your class and then literally say out loud that improvements will be coming, but they might not be for a while. I’ve played every diablo since diablo 2. I’ve been through many scenarios like this. I just have a life and other games I enjoyed better this season so I dipped. Also I like barbarian and I always have, so I didn’t want to play another class. That’s my choice.
Some of the nerfs are understandable. Hamstring comes to mind. But blizzard did went too far with nerfing Hamstring. There’s a lot of good changes as well. Ground Stomp gaining more Fury is a plus. Leap became a Fury generator. Though a lot of the changes should of been done after release instead of right before Season 1 started.

Yeah I have faith that D4 will continue getting better with time. I look forward to the future of the game.
It’s been a trash nerfed build. I didn’t say anything about meta. I make my own builds. Thank you for proving my point though
because of the barber. It wasn’t your build. The barber made about everything viable
