Anyone playing post nerf Barb? I just got on my Eternal realm one, and…absolutely gutted, so depressed over this right now. My character, my used to be amazing character, that “was” fun to play, is now ruined. 131 hours down the drain. Pit 40 used to be an easy breezy cake walk. It’s not a slow, boring trudge through the muck, even w/ every single Elixir and Incense. Also why nerf Elixir of Antivenin?!? That -was- a cool, unique thing to have for those of us who did that particular quest chain. Nope.
Just admit you hate your player base, Blizzard.

They aren’t the Pinnacle class this season but my barb can do t8 np with a WW build
Hmmm…I did get absolutely wrecked by a WW Barb in PvP. I might have to try that out. I know for DAMN SURE that god awful Bash is out. Literal worthless nerf bat now.
Dude if you were only doing pit 40, I have good news for you: current barb can easily farm pit 61+ with bad gear. You just need a cohesive build with the right uniques. Go have fun!

I played Barb for season 5 and had a great time the nerfs that Barb got were needed

These statements are always stupid to me. Instead of bring other classes and specs to the same level, people ask for a nerf. Seasonal is limited and should be a level playing field for most of the specs that people want to enjoy.

I actually enjoyed my Barb the most in T8 with WW and leveling it with 6 mythics compared to the other classes. I prefer it over my Andy Rogue and LS Sorc. It’s strong enough to clear T8

They were not needed, at all, they absolutely gutted the class.
Just to even make a barb be able to do a T8 horde, you end up needing like 4 mythics, absolutely maxed out great, and even then, its just meh.
I normally main barb, this season i main rogue.
My andy rogue and lightning spear sorc, absolutely sh*$ all over my barb, and im running GA tyreals might and grandfather.

Yea you played barb S5 after you already got the mythics on your main… im a chad barb S5 and nobody with a brain thinks the nerfs werent too much lol. They could have nerfed half of what they did and it would of still been to big of a nerf

If everyone was brought u to where Barb was most of the community would have had problems with that the majority opinion was that Barb was to strong if you think Barb wasn’t to strong then that’s fine it’s your opinion but you are in the minority of that

Yes, the “I win because I play barb” got taken away. But if you know how to play the game you should be able to compete easy. WW barbs are crushing it right now. They aren’t LS Sorc level, but that is a broken build that I’m sure will get adjustment. Just be happy you got to play a majorly over powered class that required zero brain cells for three seasons. Which, by the way, was far longer than any other OP class has gotten.

- S1-2 barbs were sub par
- Just because a build centers on a basic skill, does make it “zero brain cells to operate”
- WW barbs, are by no means crushing it this season, i can literally prove that, i bet you can’t.
You’re general attitute towards this subject suggests you’re one of the trolls who got all gleeful at a class you dont play, getting nerfed, which speaks in volumes about what type you are lol.

Ill be happy to prove how chad barbs are S5 in the pvp fields buddy… i have a very very low loss rate S5… im not even using whirl im 100% confident your build is a pillow compared to mine… i dont care if your a mage, rouge or a magician you wont win… dudes gonna take 10 min to reply to say somthing unnecessary instead of proving me wrong… HA because he cant
Barbs were OP from S2-S4.
Sure it does. Basic skill builds are the most easy ones to play because they don’t have the cooldown or resource restrictions that other builds do. Just temper it on all four of your weapons(which no other class can do) and hit your basic skill over and over again and watch everything melt. It doesn’t get any more simple than that.
Just because you are a bad player doesn’t mean everyone else is. There are plenty of videos on youtube with WW barbs killing torment bosses with ease and crushing all the content in the game. There is a WW barb in this very thread that says he can clear T8 hordes. Are you saying he is a liar? Are those videos doctored? Just admit it. You can’t play the game unless you are playing a broken build.
Well that is because you arent very bright. I’ve already played a barb. Both last season and this season. I finished that character a long time ago and moved on to other things.

Barbs are at the same level as the other classes now.
Don’t be lazy and adapt yourself to play now and not 1 hit kill everything like before.
