Lets play diablo4. I leave town. I head towards a dungeon… I kill one pack of enemies. 3 minutes later. This is my inventory. 75% gems. 20% new trash loot which I cant ignore because I need gold and materials. This game is so not fun… Please add a gem inventory. I am not stashing and un stashing gems every time I leave that is Equally if not more annoying. I also dont want to Town portal after every pack of enemies. Especially when my portal closes from aspect dungeons. this game was designed by people who obviously don’t game. It hurts that blizzard has fallen so far from grace. Blizzard. You are Inarius.

other games let you salvage out of town with your own character. Might be a good solution for d4.
WTF is the issue with gems? Just go back to town and put them in your storage chest.
well the issue is annoying enough, that we getting a gem bag from blizzard @release

The bigger problem right now is getting a full inventory during a dungeon. I’ve had it happen three times already. In the prior betas teleporting to town to repair or salvage items didn’t reset the dungeon. Now it does, which is beyond craptacular. If that makes it to launch a lot of players are going to fire pitchforks from catapults. Nobody likes losing all progress in a dungeon just because they had to empty out their inventory or lose future items in the run.

Gems need to be placed in the “consumables” tab.

Trash loot should either be phased out in higher level play OR be transformed into gold thru a skill or ability (see Dungeon Siege from Microsoft for details).

there is only a storage chest in the central town, and the game often crashes or lags horribly when forcing myself into the social area like that. Even if they optimize the game properly. that is annoying as hell to have to travel back every few minutes. The town portal often gets lost too if you were in a dungeon. Its just sloppy. and the team was likely too scared to say anything was bad.
everyone hates the gems being in the main inventory as is. if they cant fix that by adding an inventory they need to fix it by allowing the combing of gems within the inventory. We can slot them from the Inventory. So why not anything else?
