Close to 20 years since i start my game experience with Rpg .
From the Series Diablo to any kind of rpg that exist .
I still don’t understand why the current Diablo IV is keeping up with the 1st Diablo series features the limited inventory space .
I find it a bad design , since 1/10 of the time you spend for travelling , just to sell/dismantle and this is a quite a lot of time .
I can say any rpg .
Grim Dawn = Nearly 300 Slot space with 5 extra Bags
Titan quest =Nearly 200 Slots space with 4 extra Bags
Torchlight series =Same 80 to even more slot space
Sacred Series= 100+ slot item space
Fallout Series …Almost unlimited space
Spellforce Series Almost unlimited space
Final Fantasy Series Almost unlimited Space
Every Indie game that cost 1$ to 10 $ again they win .
Every android game …
So why all those games have a nice amount of slot items while Diablo is so few .
In all those games I’m focused on playing the game rather than check up every few minutes the inventory .
The difference with all that is that i’m focused more on actually playing the game rather than every 10-15 minutes i need to teleport …run to the blacksmith
I don’t know but this is pathetic for a product and a feature that every player use to have such a limited space .
A 50 available slot or even more would significantly improve the farm and time spending on actually gaming/playing rather than the Old style Diablo 1/2/3 …
(Probably the problem is that the programmer is the same guy that made D1 )

Cuz Blizz can sell some bag/stash space at Seasons and keep ppl login in
Nah, that guy was way better the idiots that made D4.
There are players in D2 and D2R who think inventory management is super fun. So maybe for developers it’s super fun. Every d2 mod eliminates this problem… I wish you the best d4 project but at the moment it doesn’t look optimistic
the inventory management in d2 is the ‘tetris’ because items take up different amounts of space, that’s not the case here. everything is just one square. and the inventory management even disappears in vanilla d2 because you just keep your bag full of charms and if you want to ID an item, you put it in the cube.
I meant a small amount of space for items. Tetris doesn’t matter. If you want to play ssf or play the holy grail in d2, it’s impossible. Using mules for items is “dumb”. To make it fun even when playing offline there is a limit to the characters you can have which is already extremely stupid.
I’ve begun to look at it as the burden of being a sequel to a classic. There are certain design philosophies you just can’t shake off.
In newer, modern games, an inventory system like D4’s would be considered garbage and half-assed. But in D4, it’s “classic”, it’s “fun”, and it’s “true to the Diablo franchise”.
someone thought that disrupting gameplay to vendor items every 1.5 dungeons was part of the rpg experience. it’s not even like we got much choice either, the prices to respec, extract aspects, and reroll stats are high enough to make even Bobby Kotick blush
Inventory is being reworked confirmed by devs.
You really shouldn’t be talking about an icon like David Brevik like that.
I must’ve missed this if you’re talking about something other than the gem storage coming in S2.
Source?
Don’t forget about PoE and Last Epoch bag space. It’s 20x better than this is.
POE if you dont buy tabs its very ruff and no one stays that way.
