I think you’d be fine, but you should definitely upgrade anyways. That speed is extremely low. I believe generally 5-10 mbps is good for online gaming, but I could be wrong and that data could be out of date.
Who is your internet company through? and how much are they charging you? because thats DSL speeds >…> Actually worse than Dsl.
You will be fine… games arent bandwidth heavy. Latency, jitters, packet loss are more important. So if your connection is stable you should have no problem.

The ping, latency issues and packet loss/delay is what matters
Several factors can have an impact on this, how many devices/users are connected at the same time on your DSL, and what type of internet activities is going on (auto updates, streams etc).
14mbs should definitely be enough if you are single user on that DSL, and you keep your other internet connected devices up to date out of game time. The DSL provider must have a reasonable response time, under normal traffic though.
