Hi, i’ve been trying to install D4 for 2 hours now but I’m stuck at “Calculating size” , I have enough memory (150gb). I’ve restarted blizzard, I’ve restarted my computer, but it still doesn’t work, anyone has encountered the same thing and solved it? Thanks!
I got this error too. After buy package with the good feeling to download Battle.net app, then go to Diablo 4 Install page and this error happen. I’m very disappointed with this problem. I’ve checked and many people got this error too. Wondering why this app needs calculate the size instead of allowing to download and play game.

Try many ways and finally I can download game 
Just go to Downloads – Blizzard Entertainment and download game installer. Run file and it works like a charm
Did it install the game completely?
Did you experience the dl stopping at a certain percentage?

Is this a legit link? I clicked on it and this is what showed up in my address bar. I downloaded the D4 installer but it doesnt seem to be doing much.
(ignore the double ‘h’ at the start of the address below, i had to add that in so that the URL would be displayed)

I think it just runs over to battlenet though.
I could see it when I hover. And you can only post links to Blizzard without issue here.

Thanks great to know. I wanted to be sure before spreading bad information to the next person reading this.
Clicking on the above link and downloading the D4 installer solved this issue for me. Once the stand alone installer did its thing (~5min), the installation window popped up in my bnet app and im now able to install D4 instead of just being stuck on “calculating size” for hours. Thanks!
ok for those who still have no luck to fix this.
I found mine. What you need to do is to change regional of your battle.net to any other regional than current one. Then try install the game again. This solve me real quick. (3 sec to calculate size)

does change your region involve submitting a ticket? i couldnt find an option to change it myself. still waiting for support
