As the title states…I can use a potion an infinite amount of times while on my Necromancer, until I reach zero (obviously). And no, I’m not using the related aspect that allows you to do so, either. I can literally just spam potions, even while at full health. I’m not at 1 HP below max, either, as a message pops up declaring that I’m already at full health. The problem has recently spread to my Barbarian, like some kind of illness or disease. I’m concerned that if this is not fixed, it will become a problem on all of my characters at some point…does anyone know what is causing this??? Or if the devs have any plans to or know how to fix this?
Theres more than just a single aspect that lets you do it. If im not mistaken there are a few aspects, there is equipment, some classes have stuff on the skill-tree that allows it, maybe glyphs I dunno, runes, etc.
Most likely a PEBKAC issue. Examine your gear again, and your passives. Chances are, you have something equipped that allows you to use potions at full health.
Idk what PEBKAC stands for…but I did as you requested and checked both my equipment for imprints that would allow this, as well as my skills/passives. I looked at my entire skill tree, and did not find any sort of passive for infinite potion usage. Same with all my gear–none of my aspects on my gear are anywhere close to being related to drinking potions at max HP/Life. I do appreciate you first asking me to double-check things, since it could have easily been the case. However, it seems to be less a player-related issue, and more an actual bug…I did check my runewords, too, since I have the expansion…it isn’t the drink a potion, trigger X effect combo…just the casting a non-channeled skill 3x, which triggers Sorcerer’s Mystical Frost Nova.
Edit: Might as well just remove this post, to be honest. No-one seems able to give me a coherent answer and instead blame me/call it a user issue, when I can clearly see it’s anything but. The blame game is real ![]()
