I was doing several IH and realized all i’m doing most of the time is staring at my minimap and killing the dots.

I do the same. Watching what happens in screen is too much. Its a lot better watch minimap.

I bet a lot of people do that.
Other then me hating the Soul spiers with a passion, I hate it when mobs don’t appear when they SHOULD and the timer is still going.

Diablo IV turned into a Subo Maphack game. The nice graphics of the big screen is just a gimmicky background for the tiny map.

Just imagine if there was an overlay map
Probably a sign that your build is too strong for the content. If things could actually kill you or they don’t die as soon as they spawn, you would pay attention to to the mob and not the minimap.

And that is exactly why I have a piece of paper taped to the corner of my monitor to cover the mini-Map that has the words “F#*@ MINIMAPS” Written on it!
Even taped it in a way where I can flip it up over the monitor when I’m not playing D4, or, need to look at gear.
I hate Mini-Maps… so much.
I’m soloing IH in T3 with Ice Shards. I think we can all agree that IH isn’t worth doing on a difficulty where you can’t do it efficiently. It’s not designed for you to challenge yourself against tough trash/elite mobs.
I can kill initiate lair bosses, but I have to drop down to T2 for the greaters. Tell me some more assumptions.
