The entire gear system IMHO is hot garbage. Seriously…I mean that…every aspect of it.

Legendary affixes are also completely uninteresting…
Good legendary affix:
XX% chance for Chain Lightning to jump to three additional targets.
Bad legendary affix (also known as D4):
3% chance to do 2% increased damage to vulnerable mobs that are nearby and unhealthy on Tuesdays after 4 pm GMT.
Completely agree, the numbers are so small and ineffective. I also hate that the legendary “aspects” are essentially interchangeable. I can get a helm and gloves drop with the same affix, which turns out to be super disappointing. I’ve literally had back to back legendaries drop for two different slots with the same affix, which sucks. It should be something you get excited about.
In other games I’ll stop as soon as I can to check my legendaries that drop. In this game it’s all about removing and switching the affixes so I’m not motivated to even look at them until I have to go back to town. The whole dopamine hit is honestly ruined.
Is the shout reduction ring power bugged? It says reduce max up to 12 seconds, but it only reduces to 6 seconds even thought there’s more than 1 enemy nearby.
In closed beta a lot of resource hungry specs could be fixed with the Umbral aspect on a ring without having to as heavily optimize other stats like resource gen and cost reduction or CDR.
Tornado druid speced into slow tornado, a bunch of sorc specs, WW barb speced into bleed slows etc.
Not sure if it works as well now as it did then as it proced on every application of any cc at the time, including slow/chill, but on live I haven’t actually found Umbral as a drop in 56 levels so I haven’t been able to test it on anything. As a codex power it only gives +1 resource per cc application, which is barely noticeable, but 2-4 can make a huge difference or in AoE situations even just keep your bar full the entire time.
It’s so HC players don’t get DC in the middle of a boss fight all because the servers are down.
