While this character creator is much better than prior diablo ones it seems to be attempting to be more inclusive… I know that it would have been more work to make clothing skins able to stretch with our sizes its just weird to see this game have some options and not others.
It may have been done in other games but for me Diablo4 is the first game I have ever seen Vitiligo as a skin tone option. Though it kinda makes me not understand representation in games… Because yea its cool my skin condition is represented in a game but it doesnt evoke any feelings from me, its just like oh cool… thats a thing… But am I have also been over weight my whole life. If we are going to try and be able to make a character that looks like us but can only do so via skin tone but not body type… perhaps a younger person would appreciate the options more for me it just makes me wonder why one thing but not the others? Though we have a lot of options for customization here when the armor skins I saw in the beta I image are just a small subset of what we will have at our disposal and they all look pretty cool so I cant imagine every seeing my character model much anyway
