Not sure why this doesn’t have more attention. T3 incense is too expensive to craft, since 275 Cinder Helltide chests drop maybe 17 “bundled herbs” on average, and your basic ground mats drop anywhere between 1-7. Needing 100 to craft the T3 incense, that just disappears after a death, makes it practically useless.
Sure, “Don’t die, ez”. But not a valid response.
I think either an adjustment to how many mats are needed to craft these is needed, or just fix the bug in general. It sort of bricks my resistance caps, and makes my character incapable of doing endgame.

I have also come here to support this. I dont know if this was intended or a reintroduced bug from way back when, when the same thing used to happen.
but it is very frustrating that Inscence (which already only lasts for a very short period of time) is being lost if you die in any content.
As someone that is currently using them to top up resistances until I can find a better solution this is as already stated is becoming really frustrating.
Can you guys please take a look at this once again as they use both gem fragments and Angelbreath to craft both of which is not exactly a material that is in abundance considering they are a much needed material for other upgrades
Thank you

Just adding a +1 to this because I’ve noticed it happening too.

I literally had to stop playing my Barb and level another character just because I can’t do high level pits or ubers. My resist caps depend on incense, and it’s just not worth my time to farm bundled herbs, which is what i struggle to keep a healthy supply of any more. Angelsbreath for me drops in abundance from chests, but the high craft cost of T3 incense for bundled herbs bankrupts me.

You know what would be great? Acknowledgement. For any of the issues really. Patch notes. This is such a stupid and seemingly insignificant issue that is being overlooked, while a mid-season content patch (with laughable content in comparison to what’s being given to Diablo Immortal) that I just don’t want to play.
So much for the whole “transparency” and “communication” thing.

this is ridicilous considering how costly they are
One week later and a new patch, the bug is still here.
And not only with death because i lost an elixir + incence when teleporting…
Could you do something about this please ?
Go play a druid then, druids can have capped all res and struggle to go 90+ pits
Farm bundled herbs in the PvP zone. They are everywhere.
Anyone else notice that a) The Devs haven’t acknowledged this “bug”/change at all, and b) The incense tool tips no longer say they persist after death… hence why I put “bug” in parentheses. I’m having trouble understanding why they would make unpopular and bad changes, and remain silent about it all on top of it.
It may be a change for incense not persisting after death but as i said, i lost it many times and not after being dead… since i’m playing in HC !
I lost it almost each time i took a side quest and many times while teleporting.
+, i lost my antivenin elixir by teleporting.
Something is surly not right with incense atm.
Suppose it is safe to say that moving forward, incense is no longer supposed to persist after death, regardless of whether it was in the patch notes or not.
Apparently it was an incense ninja nerf
Yeah the tool tip no longer says “persists through death” lame. Anyone struggling for herbs just needs to do legion events, you get 600 to 1000 bundles per legion

I know cellars give a decent amount, but I don’t bother with legions usually. Big W advice.
