In Supervive the friend leaderboard is better than "region" leaderboard

When you open leaderboard on Supervive it instantly shows you the friend leaderboard first.

Diablo should really take that on top of adding a global leaderboard

Diablo having a leaderboard that accumulate points for task completed

So example you see your name and it looks like

Billybob-
Pit level 120
800 Infernal horde
7 NMDs
Total score- 540

But then

jimmyjoe
Pit level 80
400 Infernal horde
2 NMDs
Total score -210

(Make the goal score to be 666)
(What is the goal score? It is a dynamic number that simply gives the rank 1 player 666 and rank 2 665 and etc[ multiple people can be rank 342 points and such]) so where rank 1 might have the highest pit level, the rank 2 player found a build that triples the amount of NMDs he could complete

You can change the leaderboard to show you who has highest pit level, Infernal Horde and nmds completed in an hour(or 30 minutes)

Pit is more about complete and killing the strongest enemies possible

Infernal horde is about clearing a room and collecting a much resource as possible

NMDs is about speed, being able to absolutely blitz as many dungeons as possible.

**This presents multiple unique types of gameplay and possibly the use of different builds **

I do think NMDs should have a consumable that last 30 minutes or 1 hours( i think 30 is healthier). This consumable will reward you with masterworking material when it expires but specifically gives you more depending on how many NMDs you complete

This also makes the dungeon choice matter a little more, especially if you get more familiar with “lay outs” and are trying to find the most optimal blitz path

i also don’t think leaderboard should really count group stuff at all
You getting a circle jerk to complete pit 189 isn’t really impressive it’s more impressive to see actual individual achievements

That’s why the friend leaderboard is better imo especially if you have friends with the same average play time and skill

i find it interesting how people are angry about the DC because “d4 is a single player game” yet care so hard for leaderboards.

that being said, im happy once leaderboards are there. I dont care too much about them, but i know others do.

The problem is leaderboards are full of bots and RMT’ers. They are intended to show player skill and effort in the game but it does the exact opposite.

Even in D3 where trading isn’t really a thing the leaderboards are all people with Paragon 4000 in the first few weeks of season. You literally see new characters (not reborn) with 700 hours played when the season is 720 hours old. Why have something that means nothing?

Or -pay- more than me, for that matter. According to the “roadmap” they aren’t even working on it until next year. Guess it came in low on their surveys after all.

I wouldnt see the need for leadboards in a singleplayer game. Of course im being cynic there, but thats the feedback people shout whenever they got their panties twisted.

It’s actually pretty hilarious that in the interview, Blizzard brought up cheating when it came to the new leader boards, but that has never stopped them in Diablo 3.

erm… yes? You act like this is nothing that people would pay for. Heck people are buying for gear that lasts for 3 months. If one is being delusional, its you.

Anyway, we are discussing about nothing here, as this game doesnt offer ssf and most likely never will.

Buying gear isn’t the same as buying an account.

Even in pvp games you hardly run in to bought high rank accounts. No one does this
