In game music - Cash Shop

If the Diablo 4 music isn’t what you expected, have Blizzard add old Diablo music packs to the cash shop!
Diablo 2 music pack - $9.99
Diablo 3 music pack - $9.99

If you have music queues/stamps in the game code, any game music should line up with combat, environment, towns, etc. Let the player choose the music pack they want!

Easy revenue. You can think me later!

Or use spotify/youtube

That’s not really the point. In game music lines up with event driven encounters and environments. The only way to do this is replacing the music packs for the specific in game areas.

Listening to Tristram on a youtube loop isn’t quite the same.

I would like to see games get more creative like with the ashtray maze in Control. To me that was a real next level music experience that matched the level of your gameplay. I wish more game designers put that level of thought into their encounters.

As someone who literally mutes the in-game music and plays movie scores over spotify instead—I can 100% guarantee you that just picking a 10/10 score from a movie will not only line up with the cinematics and combat of the game, but its a 10000% better experience than their current music in-game.

Playing The Uruk Hai by Howard Shore had my girlfriend glued to the screen in excitement when I fought the world boss the first time.

Just make a playlist.

Here’s one you can use with Diablo 4. I was constantly amazed at how the swells and moments in the music lined up surprisingly well with cinematics and key moments in the game.

Already have 48hrs worth of gaming music with no vocals. Yes it’s great, but the OPTION to actually get music the devs and artists intended, and being able to bring back old Diablo scores that match the game as the dev intended would be nice.

Amazes me that people actually suggest playlists as that’s not the point of the post, at all.

I think you are under the misapprehension that the devs for the different Diablo games are the same.

Yeah I’d rather hear it in game too while playing. Back in my WoW raiding days it was always a bummer when I’d have to turn sounds and music down low enough to be able to hear us coordinating the fights. Important but I like to hear the sounds and ambiance and all that.

They are. It’s called Blizzard who owns the franchise.

No, Blizzard is the publisher, the devs and artists are people.

Wrong again. Blizzard is the developer. Activision is the publisher. Activision Blizzard publishes and develops their games. Those ‘people’ work for Blizzard. Wanna keep trying?

No, it’s obvious that you cannot, or will not, understand. Trying to teach you would be a waste.

Who do the developers of Diablo work for?
Who owns the Diablo franchise?

Once you answer that for yourself, you will be more educated.

Developers of the Diablo franchise all worked for Blizzard, regardless if it was Blizzard North or Blizzard HQ.

Your whole point makes zero sense. At one point Blizzard developers helped put the music into the Diablo games to help complete the game experience.

Lol, as I said:
