It’s really exhausting and too much micromanagement when re-skilling, trying new builds or item upgrades to keep the Legendary effects up.
Now I’m wondering, why doesn’t the Codex of Power help me at this point?
How about: If you could unlock “EVERY” Legendary Effect in a dungeon in minimal power and instead of imprinting the Legendary Effect into an item, you could upgrade the version in the Codex.
This way you could improve the codex over time, farming is rewarded (you want to find the Legendary more often) and it is easier to change the build through seasonal changes.
The upgrade could either be done gradually (each new find upgrades the effect a bit - like upgrading glyphs) or the roll of the Legendary effect would raise the codex value one to one. So a renewed find of the legendary effect with lower values would not lead to an upgrade of the codex of power…you would have to find a better variant first.
