Imprinting Rare: Does Salvaging get the Aspsect back?

If you imprint a rare with an aspect turning it into a legendary, do you get get the aspect back if you salvage it? Or is the aspect gone?

No.

It’s one and done dude.

yeah, I hate that part. Makes you want to save a really good aspect for your “final” weapon, but then you never get to use it. such a dilemma.

I have multiple max rolls in my stash already and use them regulary on good gear. I just always keep 2 max rolls of the aspcets I use for my build.

Much thanks! <20 chars>

If you could get the aspect back, that’d be extracting. Which you can only do once :frowning:

Nope.

But, to be fair, the higher in Item Power you go, the better the aspects can get. Aspects power level is determined by the Item Power of the item they originally come from, so you want to find NEW ones anyways.

…Sort of? Depends on the aspect. Only ones that roll in a fixed number range and not a percentage range really matter to power level.

A normal basic attack speed +30% will not be better regardless of what item level or quality you extract from. An ancestral version of that is just an aspect your alt will take a long time to be ever able to use.

You cannot salvage it afaik

But yeah, you can’t extract imprinted legendary powers so better level up with mediocre ones or aspects and keep your best ones for later

Correct. However I believe (as far as I have experienced) any aspect that has a Blue number, is capable of increasing in power as you progress in Item Power. (the range is always displayed for non-blue numbers)

Not sure if that is really what is going on, as it is just my experience thus far.

It is for blue numbers not followed by a %. The % range doesn’t ever increase. [15%-30%] always stays at [15%-30%]

For blue numbers that are not a % though, like thorns damage while berserking, the range will increase with quality.

So, not any aspect with a blue number.
