It seems like aspects or imprints are not working on rings at all. I’ve tried it for different ways and none of the effects take hold.
Currently I have a imprint or aspect on one of my rings that says “you deal 33% more damage to immobilized, stunned, or frozen enemies (sorcerer only)”. I equipped the ring and then I checked the specific stat on my character called damage towards frozen and I am not getting the 33% increase perk.

My other ring currently has a aspect on it called “critical strikes with core skills increase your attacks speed by 25% for five seconds”. I’ve tested this thoroughly and I am not getting an increase in attack speed at all.
On a second note there are other types of imprinted aspects that I am capable of putting on rings that I’m noticing are not working in my sorcerer class. For example,
there’s a perk that involves my ice shards to cast two or three more shards whenever I’m using that skill. However after equipping this perk on one of my rings the added shards are not present.
Why are we allowed to attach a imprinted aspect on a ring that is designed to be for a weapon at all? If you’re going to allow us to attach it to a ring then give us the perk! Otherwise make rings not compatible with these types of weapon perks.
Additionly… if I have a weapon or a ring equipped with either of the perks mentioned above then why are these perks NOT being incorporated into my sorcerers enchantments. For example I have an enchantment where I randomly (8%) drop a meteor when fighting in the game. However after attaching a specific perk on one of my rings that states all meteors will make enemies stunned for three seconds, the meteor falls at random and none of my enemies are stunned. Again Parks on rings that are aspecs or imprints…
are not working.
It seems they are working whenever you equip the specific perks on your weapon, but I want them to work on my rings as well if I’m allowed to put them on my rings. Otherwise I’m wasting my time putting any of these perks on my rings. AND RESOURCES!!!
Which imprinted/aspects actually do work on rings, I’d like to know?
