Imperfectly balanced can no longer be upgraded past 1 skill point. Was this a change from the last patch? I noticed this on my HC character.
My SC Necro is at 3. But shows all 3 points are from items. I invested 3 in that skill before the patch.
Yep, it does appear to be bugged. Not that this particular skill wasn’t buggy in general. Working tooltips may not seem significant but it’s the little things that count…

Same notice here, I remove 1 skill point then I can no more add it back. I could not find anything in the update note.

did you get 3 points back when you refunded it or 1? Reason i ask is because if you only got 1 point back you’re missing2 skill points.
note: did you just refund the 1 or did you do a full skill reset? and did you get the full and now have 2 points left over or 0 if you spec the same way?

Same can only add 1 skill point and the counter doesn’t show up for the 1 point I have there.
I have also found this issue.
I could see no 3/3, but the tooltip said the correct numbers (i.e. 15% increase) i removed a point and got the skillpoint, corrects numbers where shown.
I reduced the skill to 0 and can now put no more then 1 point in it.
This kind of simple bug making it through testing is really dissapointing to see.

I noticed the same bug, I was super confused on what was happening so now I just have 1 point in the skill

This is the question I have as well. I want to respec but I do not want to brick my toon until the who-knows-when hotfix.
If you remove points from Imperfectly Balanced you get them back. If you have more than 3 in it right now then removing and trying to re-add them will only let you place 1 point into the skill.
I don’t know if this bug impacts the skill behavior though. By this I mean 3 points may only be seen as 1 point if they’ve already been allocated. It presumably depends on the nature of the bug. Since tooltips in this game leave a lot to be desired it would need to be tested.
I got my 3 points back trying to find a work around but can only assign one back
the devs already didnt see this?? its a bug!

Bug, seems like. Please fix…this is 15% (x) less damage for us…
sigh. This was first thing I noticed when I went through my skill tree to see what changed. Super disappointing with this round of updates. I wish the focus would be centered on improving or synergizing basic skills rather than messing with passives and crits right before a season. I feel like if this game is going to change this radically for an update, that is going to require two following updates, I may stop putting any hours into this game already, and S1 hasn’t even started yet.
