I'm stuck at work, is the game any good

Didn’t do PTR and I’m stuck at work, how is it.

Same, so far people seem positive. I’ll be jumping on after work. Looking forward to the changes for this season.

I asked my work if yearning for a game constituted use of sick time, they told me to go back to my desk so I’m assuming that’s a maybe.

Played for a while. Still feels pretty much the exact same. Maybe a bit easier but no new ground has been broken here.

Feeling the same here…I see small changes, but it will be nothing that is a total “new game” or revamp. Hard to tell at the moment but if they didn’t fix the boring endgame then it will be more of the same sadly. I will press on until I experience it, but I am a bit fatigued from several bland seasons.

Overall I notice a lot of small, positive changes that have added up to a more pleasant experience. Far as I can tell, all of the useless bloat from release has been cut out, and that’s what I’ve been waiting for the most.

Loot is much simpler but Tempering makes it more fun. I don’t feel pressured into min/maxing with GAffixes which is good. I don’t care if I “brick” an item with Tempering, because I can just find another one.

Feels like a casual Diablo game, and that’s fine. I think I smiled for the first time since release. I’m having a good time just messing around with the usual activities, which have all been enhanced because the loot has been fixed.

I’m probably not going to care too much about pushing into The Pit, but what I’ve seen so far is pretty simple and streamlined. Just short dungeon layouts that culminate in a boss. Beat Pit Level 1, I could Masterwork one piece of gear once. Pit Level 1 was relatively challenging for my Level 91, so there’s plenty of room for it to intensify over 200 levels.

In short, game’s fine. You’ll have a pleasant experience, and that is transformative in itself. You don’t need any hype. Just enjoy it for what it is.

Well, i like it

With tempering, you get 5 affix items right off the start pretty much , you get a lot of quick power

Cant wait to try the elixirs that boost 10 levels of monsters in helltides, I wonder whats the maximum it can be boosted

So used to before, that i have to change my habits =o I used to drop blues all the time, but now i need them, to temper more  maybe it changes later

Yellow item or legendary?

same, keeping them for wt4 tho. But… just to be sure, they can be stacked? o.o

I like a lot of the changes, but… season theme is literally just “go do more helltides.” I mean, dont get me wrong, I love helltides, but this is going to get old real fast.

well yea, but the rewards are pretty nice and it seems like its rather fast to finish. I mean its no secret that this seasons theme is rather light ^^ Right now im on lvl 11 on the iron wolves rewards, so yea, pretty fast.

From what I see D4 is still disappointing and I don’t see anything that sparks my interest in coming back to it. Same Content but with a stupid twist to it.

I am ALSO stuck at work, but I WFH and game during. The changes, even at low level, ARE SO COOL! Finding the pages for gear alterations is already dotting my playtime with pure excitement! I cant wait to hit wt4 and experience everything!

No same old same old :unamused:

The Temper system alone is amazing.

What are you guys even talking about ?! “small changes” ?

Level 45 and I’m having a blast.

It’s got some QOL improvements and the temper manual things are kinda interesting. The rest is mostly the same as far as I can see. Still kind of a bland, repetitive world. Desperately need some more interesting locations like an arcane sanctuary to break up the visual monotony

Well we would never want to add past seasonal content to the base game for multiple things to do! That would be too W I L D. We need to repeat helltides for 3-4 months!!!

Helltides are excellent. Mob density and respawn rate are great. The bosses are not push overs, at least not pre-level 50. I am loving it so far.
