So I tried to the other day, and it was so boring that I quit.
It seemed like I was soloing it (the undead giant, forget his name) and I was doing fine, but clearly not enough damage. His life bar would have taken me at least 10 full minutes to chew through, and, honestly…F-that.
If I want to just kill one, should I drop down to WT1 and do it? I’m on WT3 and about to move to WT4.
My Sorc build probably isn’t perfect, but I have no problems with any other content or bosses, and I’ve only died once (my fault, not paying attention).
Do they have to be fought by a group? I know that’s encouraged…But damn.
Is it something I should just not bother with, or just wait and do it with a lower level new character?

They have a lot of health. It doesnt seem like it though when there is a group of 5 or so people with mixed classes cuz they die in about 4 seconds.
I would recommend that you turn on cross platform if you do not have it on, and head to the next wb you wanna do. If there is no one there, just port to town and then go back to the wb immediately. Every time you do that it changes the server so there will be more, or less or different people there.

How could you possible to solo a world boss now?
There always will be one or more Ball Lightning Sorcs waiting for kill it for you in every single tiers. Day to night.
WB are pretty easy once you hit 75 as they don’t go above. Even solo, you can clear it given you start on time. If you start like half way in then it gets challenging to finish based on build.
Move to WT4 first as there is no point in fighting them in WT3, WT4 will drop you 925 gear from the boss. But make sure you get some ancestral gear before going after it.

Do the gold capstone dungeon, go to tier 4, go to the bloodtide, ride on your horse and get good ancestral gear from chests, equip it, show up for the boss and see it die in 1 second because high level players.
Level 75 and in a low tier world is your problem and it is self inflicted. Look at your white star quests. They have been begging you to go to T4 since 10 levels ago already.
Once you get into WT4 youll have no problem getting the kill with other people. Even if you need to go to WT4 for the kill then switch back I’d do that, but you should be WT4 ready.
Set to wt4. reserve 4 sec. of your life. collect loot.

Yeah, I’ve been ignoring the capstone dungeon partly because I thought it said level 75+ but it actually says 70+, haha.
Oh well. Done now, and in WT4. Getting good item drops again, which is nice.

Lower tiers always have issues with participation in Legions and WB. In the lower tiers everyone’s working to get strong enough for T4 that they ignore the WB and Legions.
I’d recommend joining a Clan and rolling around with clan mates in T4 and NMD’s.
Yeah, I know right, how dare they make a world boss difficult to kill and not just automatically dies when it comes on your screen

-A couple of times, I went to do a world boss on world tier II or III and not many people showed up and it was… boss escaped.
-So now I don’t bother until I get to world tier IV.
Yes, You are always full group once you join this event.
I don’t know how you managed to get into a solo phase.
They give guaranteed highest item level item 925 if you are in WT 4, so yes, always do them.
Why do people wait this long to go WT 4?
At 74… You could’ve been WT 4 since like 64.
Difficult and way too much health are two totally different things.
That boss was not difficult. I was in no danger of dying unless I went off KB.

Just going to add that on hardcore I’ve been solo at WB nearly every time on T2 and T3.
So that could be a reason.
Noone plays hardcore, so yes, obviously it would be dead/empty WB phases
Too easy to just get one shotted by the boss at that level as well, doubt any one risks it.
Its group boss… or boss for OP build.
It has lifespawn like 5-10 sec against players at 100 (considereing half of them are BLs)
Just wait for WT4 and you can leech.
You ARE complaining that it takes too long to kill, so too hard for you because it doesn’t die as soon at it comes on screen for you.
