I'm enjoying adapting

Hi guys,

Reading the forums and it looks like a lot of people are upset about the nerf to CDR stat. Personally i’ve never liked the playstyle of being so reliant on CDs. This nerf encouraged me to experiment with something new on my Sorcerer.

Instead of waiting for the Frost Nova / Ice Shards combo, ive put one point into frozen orb and got it’s vulnerability upgrade. It kind of acts like a lesser frost nova appying chills and vuln. I throw out one orb then follow up with Ice Shards.

A weaker build sure, but im liking the ability to be decent at killing stuff in between Frost Nova Cooldowns. The playstyle feels familiar, but fresh.

What about you guys? Experimenting with other builds lately?

People who are on the forums are just terminally online no lifers who hate to see others have fun.

I am also having fun adapting, playing a fire sorc having a blast.

Ummm… you are on the forums lol. Just pointing out the flaw of your argument.
Glad you are having fun though!

Erh Uhmmm actually, if you don’t understand the nuance of being able to post and still point out the state of the forum, I can’t help you brother.

Nuance? You think that statement was nuanced? Ok. Np.

Rogue has nothing except cooldowns outside of basic and core attacks, so I’m not sure how to adapt beyond putting more basic or core attacks on my skill bar in exchange for losing out on unstoppable / movement sources or crowd control lol

Well I am not an arpg expert or pro player, but, even with the cdr nerf I do enjoy my barb. Trying other stuff, non meta builds. I am having fun.

The systems in the game are so simple and superficial that there is no adapting, there is only accepting. Both class design and itemization are incredibly homogeneous. There is no reason to use another skill or class because they all function under the same simple principles.

How exactly do you think you’re adapting?
