Although the S2 is a good step forward and i did enjoy the game, i will NEVER be able to defeat Uber Lilith. EVER. I managed to reach phase 2 and i cant do bullethell. Im not good at it and i dont like it. I loved hack&slash games because i could defeat all the content the more i play it.
I get rewarded for killing stuff with more power so i can access more content. But this… this is not diablo legacy content.
I know you all feel different and that is ok. But i can not enjoy a game that i know i will never complete its content.
I know i know there are 2000 builds op and raxxanterax complains that Uber Lilith is to easy but i am not him or other 1000 streamers or pro players. I am casual to mid player but the one thing i could count on in the other diablos is that at somepoint i knew i could get an item that will boost me past the difficulty or i would complete my build and rip through screens and screens of mobs.
If i knew from the start that i could never defeat the last boss of the game because it needs great timing and execution and movement skills and its not only a gear check but also bullethell with ONE shot mechanics i would never buy it not to mention i spent 90 euros for this because i am a big fan of diablo.
Im quitting D4 and im not touching it again until they remove the incredibly frustrating oneshot mechanics.
If you guys feel that she is to easy to defeat then play without items or remove some of your gear if you want a challenge dont block endgame content for me because its to easy for some.

Uber Lilith took me close to 50+ tries. Timing CDs and dashes is key but sometimes RNG isn’t in your favor. You’ll get there if you take the time to learn the mechanics and timing, it just may take longer than the people that live and die playing the game.

Mechanics and endgame content isnt for the faint-hearted, learning and persistence is key. proper gearing is a small portion of it also. on other Blizzard games do you think the top players/guilds in the world just 1 shot everything? Keep trying… It’s supposed to be a challenge “Uber” is a challenge. Same thing as irl do you get out of high school and get a job paying 6-figures? No. you work from the bottom and get to the top.
So please 
stop complaining, make a cup of coffee, and reset. you will kill Lilith when you learn the mechanics and with persistence. Good luck have fun.
It’s the pinnacle fight for a reason. Sure it’s probably a bit over-tuned. Just curious, how many attempts have you put in? It took me hundreds with a non-cheese build in season 0.

Sounds like the only demon you can’t defeat is the one in your own head. Life becomes a lot more enjoyable when you can get over silly emotional rules you impose upon yourself. So what if you may never beat uber Lilith? Are there other parts of game you enjoy? Than enjoy them.

Even after playing games for decades, I’ll never understand this.
If I fail an attempt twice, I’m looking online for strategies.
By the time I get to the fifth failed attempt, I’m looking online for cheats or ways of cheesing the fight.
Failing that, I’m going to try to get someone to carry me through it.
I find NO joy in failing and wouldn’t consider in a thousand years trying more than 20 times, let alone 50.
The devs said before the game launched that many players would never defeat the pinnacle boss. This wasn’t subterfuge. It’s just what it is. I’m guessing you haven’t tried with a character optimized based on resistance changes either since the updates were pretty recently launched.
If you’re not running a cheese build, it’s gonna be wayyyy more than 50 wipes trust me

I loathe the gaming concept that the only way to learn is to die/fail repeatedly. Give me a game where I can go from 1 to the final fight with zero deaths on the first try, and still have it be fun.
So true, but in fairness, Lilith cheezes and Devs took about Bulwark cheezing so…looks like devs sided with uber lilith.

I have no friends who play d4 that much to reach 100.
They said is the pinnacle but after the game launched. (thx a lot).
I have tried Sorc with a firewall build in S0 (30 times) . Druid landslide in S1 (about 20 times) and now Sorc with lightning ball in S2 (today i lost count but it was for 3 hours straight).
I beat her in stage 1 but in stage two she spams skulls like its no tomorrow. Add to this input lag (i do not understand why it is i do not use wireless peripherals) my latency is between 90 - 140 ms.
I have tried to ask people ingame for a party but people have other things to do and not that many people reached 100 yet.
I get her to half life (3) in the 2nd phase but she goes top slashes the platform for the first time but i get 2 puddles that spawn skulls and there isnt a lot of space to dodge them also being a shot distance the spawn pretty fast so i dodged the first salvo but the second i have cd and i die. (thats when i get to see them, most of the times i can see s***t captain)

Its something psychological for me to beat her. ( i like the other bosses and i managed to do them all) but for me this is my goal in this game to beat her. I think some of you understand this some of you dont. its good eitherway.
