Can we get a easy to access multiplayer?
Such as being able to match up outside of dungeon or just anything that isn’t isolated, I want to play with other people.
Dungeon Run
One dungeon after the next.
Each gets harder.
A simple group finder so i can find people to play with, full party of 4 with ease.
Loot gets better and increases in amount for each dungeon completed.

I do agree that the game does feel lonelier. But may I ask…have you joined a Clan and you know…talked to them? And asked them about hanging out?
I agree, thats why I loved entering other people’s worlds in D3… If they open their world for bounties or a rift… at least other players that have the same goal will join.

I started my own one man clan, I’m trying to grind dungeons with rando rambo’s , not have deep and meaningful relationships.
Perhaps I will give it a try.
For me, I don’t like committing to a group. I like going into pugs, doing the content, then leaving, doing solo stuff maybe, then going right back to a pug thing back and forth. Clan play is more “ok we’re doing this for a couple hours now, and nothing else”. I don’t like that too much.

I mean honestly clan play can be whatever you want it to be.
Well, if I found a clan that didn’t mind me coming and going to groups every other run, that’d be great. I don’t believe that exists tho. Auto group making would be much more streamlined than constantly whispering for invites then leaving.

I do agree with you that instant matchmaking would achieve the goal you are looking for. most certainly. But since we don’t have that, I mean…what you gonna do? Cause all we have currently is RL friends and Clans. I’m just trying to help you.
Lobby for it. Hopefully they introduce the mechanic at some point.
I appreciate your help. I’m simply providing a critique, along with many others, hoping Blizzard will take note and then action.

I play alone too and things are more difficult.
The whole “forced multiplayer but not multiplayer” is worse than what Destiny 2 offered and that was a game that forced you to “communicate” or “organize” while at the same time having no voicecomms, group finder OR even text chat, effectively alienating you out of the game into third party environments.
However, this is the same company that promised us clans and social features for Overwatch. Remember? The game they deleted to make room for the same game with PvE content and a shop where they then just announced they flat out never honestly worked on the PvE content for one and a half years now?
I remember.

Would be nice if there was something out there for those seeking group play.
I mean the Shards pretty much place us with others around our level.
Shouldn’t be too hard to implement.
But yea, I mostly play(ed) alone.
Kind of a gamer hermit by nature.
There is peace in that.
I’m happy many friends from D3 and years past have returned. It’s been quite nice.
Though I spend a majority of my time giving advice or data, some carrying(well lots of carrying) - I find myself occasionally missing my ‘quiet time’ too.
Thankfully that’s not a thing with my Clan.
But as you said:
Yea that’s where my allergic reaction kicks in or gamer’s narcolepsy K.O.'s me.
These 60 second Dungo port out unparty reset ad nauseum “efficiency” runs. GAH!
I’m good for 3 or 4 then ‘something comes up’ and igtg.
I’d just go back to D3 GR for that.
But feel free to send me a msg Bodach. Good, chill group of people. No “Run Rules”, deadlines, commitments, sweatlords etc. Family folks, casuals, professionals and so on.
Nice to have it as an option and not a requirement.
I can understand, sometimes it is lonely playing solo in games like these. The fact I can see others in the world running around helps; I rather enjoy seeing others.
Just a day ago I finally opened the Clan tab just to check it out and had about a dozen invites pending… oops! never even crossed my mind to check.
The game is lonely and antisocial now. They have put in antisocial mechanics to all their chat features. Used and am in a clan but you literally have to alt tab to a discord to find people which is just annoying to do.
Especially after playing D3 which had basic match making for years.
Why wasn’t that in game? It’s.like they don’t even understand the most basic of quality of life features.

The quality of their games has been declining for years now, used to love the company. Thie reciprocation based strategies were great. Pay once get butt loads of free stuff.
Lets face it their profit driven now, so the quality were used to probably is coming back.
They would rather have big bank accounts than invest in themselves.
We will see how that works for them in the long run.
